    Nice metal switch plate Nice metal switch plate. It is just a silver coating, I could see come brass color underneath there the packaging rubbed during delivery and it scratched easily when I put in the screws. We'll see how it holds up with use. 4good quality for the price I bought these to complete a home renovation project where I did the electrical work, general contractor complemented the look and I agree with him as well, good quality for the price. 5Well made and excellent quality Highly recommend. I used it on two smart light switches by Wemo. It fitted well. Smart wifi light switches generate some heat. The metallic cover would help to dissipate some of the heat. Furthermore, I was able to trigger lights remotely using Wemo or IFTTT app on my cell . Wemo light switch manufacturer does not recommend using metallic wall switch cover due to absorption of wifi signals. However, it worked well for me. This was probably because my modem/router was pretty close to the metallic wall cover. 5I needed brushed nickel plates and I needed them to ... I needed brushed nickel plates and I needed them to be affordable. In those ways, these deliver.These have no glare (which is why I had to return the Franklin beaded brushed plates whose style I preferred), and the styling is simple but basic.I thought it was maybe just a fluke, but as another reviewer noted the metal is pliable enough that it tends to flex on less than perfectly even surfaces, leaving space between the plate and wall. I only notice it if I'm staring at it, rather unnaturally, from the side, but it still irks me.It's not stated in the description, but the brand is Amerelle which is sold (typically for more) at Walmart and home depot. You might be able to see them in store then before you buy. 3Good product The Chelsea Steel Triple Rocker GFCI Wallplate is good looking (if you like brushed nickel) and strong. Unlike ceramic wallplates it can flex on an uneven wall and doesn't break. And it can flex more than a plastic plate, although the plastic plate can flex a little. Over the years I have broken a couple of ceramic and plastic wallplates because the wall was uneven. At least with this plate a person can screw it in until it is flush with the wall (assuming the wall isn't too far out of whack) eliminated the "gap" look that one has to deal with every now and again with ceramic or plastic wallplates.AD2 4A perfect match to Hampton Bay! These 3 switch wall plates are a perfect match for the Hampton Bay Ascher collection that is sold at Home Depot. At Home Depot they do not sell the 3 switch version and we needed to match our existing plates. These looked close, so we took a shot. They are a perfect match! Couldn't be happier 5A+ quality, sleek design! Absolutely love these!! They look great and quality is amazing! I am pleasantly surprised since these were cheaper than similar ones in home depot or Lowe's. I ordered the set of different types for entire house and every single one is perfect, with no defects or cons I can think of. Already installed them, replacing the old wall plates. 5Cheap cheap cheap !!! Color is awful and looks like dog poop, literally. Was cheapest plate I ever saw. 1A nice plate, but does NOT work with TP-Link Smart Switches Although this is a high-quality and nice-looking plate, it does not work with TP-Link Smart Switches, and I'd be willing to bet it doesn't work with most smart switches from other brands either. The screw holes have a lip that protrudes out the back of the plate, which means that when you attach this to a smart switch, it stands visibly away from the wall. 3Great purchase! I purchased this along with 2 other cutouts of the same style plate cover. Let me tell you, they are well worth it! The finish is perfect. The cut is clean and smooth. The plates are sturdy and well made. I would trust this brand for further purchases. 5
