It looks really nice at firstPaint was chipped in some areas, and it wobbles. It looks really nice at first, but these unfinished and shotty details were a real disappointment. It was too much trouble to return it after we already assembled it. 3I bought this product expecting to receive a beautiful night standI bought this product expecting to receive a beautiful night stand. Instead I received a table with damaged wood, discoloration on pieces, a drawer that does not sit flush and screws/locks/dowels that were unusable. I had put it together hoping the damage would not be visible, but the damage was clearly visible. Amazon asked me to send the table back meaning that I would have to disassemble it and then reassemble the new one when it came. When I told them this they offered me $20 and asked me to keep the able. I mentioned the broken screws, locks and dowels at which point I was told that they would give me $30 "FINAL OFFER". I told them I just wanted new parts to fix the table and they said that they could not provide that. I am sorely disappointed at how poor customer service was. For as great as Amazon is to purchase things it is equally as terrible at customer service when they are in the wrong. 1Lead, smelly, otherwise niceI bought two of these to use as bedside tables. The boxes arrived pretty beaten up, but the pieces were all undamaged due to lots of styrofoam all around them. Assembly was easy, about a half hour each. There were a few nicks and marks on exposed areas, but not enough to warrant replacing them, and the unexposed areas were all really marked up. One cam lock broke during installation--the metal for them is soft, almost like pewter--definitely too soft to do their job. I've now had the tables for a week and they continue to reek of chemicals, though not nearly as strongly as day 1. The box actually declares the coating contains lead, so don't let kids or pets chew them! Overall, they fall into the murky category of: if I could unbuy them I would, but they're not so bad I'm getting rid of them. 3There's are better alternatives out there...I should have listened to the other reviewers before deciding to purchase this end table. The CAM bolts did not work correctly to "cinch" the parts together tightly. I sent both units back to Amazon. Unfortunately this means I wasted $20.00/unit just in freight. 1Nice table for tlhe price, but you will need to purchase better cams & screwsOverall, the table is nice looking and decent quality, not great. As other reviewers have mentioned, the cams are poor quality, will break, and you will need to purchase a better quality cam so that the unit stays together tightly. Also, the screws provided are WAY too small. I purchased both the cams & screws at my local hardware store (because it was a mile from my home). The drawer bottom piece is a bit flimsy, but the draws slide nicely. The directions were easy to follow and the unit was very easy to put together. I thought the final product coordinates well with my current bed frame and overall I am happy with the table. I put it in a spare bedroom so it won't get too much use. 4Great decorators pieceHalf MDF, half real wood, sturdy and super easy to assemble, easy to care for surface. I bought two of them in separate orders and the second one had one misaligned dowel. This stuff just happens with self assembly furniture and it is no big deal. I left it out and it is as sturdy as the other one. This is a great accent piece, not just for the price! I redecorate frequently and have some antique and vintage furniture staples but I hate to spend money on new items that lose their value as soon as they leave the store so these are perfect for me. I did change the drawer pulls to tie in with the rest of my look. 5Don't hesitate, buy these!I saw plenty of reviews and pictures that made me worried these were not constructed well or that the pieces wouldn't fit together properly and it would not function or look nice. I am SO glad I took the chance on them.They were packaged well and I had no issues in that regard. The hardware was clearly shrink wrapped onto a piece of cardboard which made it easy to see everything but it was a bit awkward to get them out when you needed them. You do need a Philips head screwdriver to assemble this. Assembly went pretty quickly.I purchased these in the light blue color, though I wanted white. The blue color was nice but not what I was going for. The white was almost double the price of the other colors, so I purchased the blue with plans to paint them white. I used spray paint and it worked very well. I also purchased nicer drawer pulls I found on Amazon and I really think they do a lot for the look.The drawers are nice for the size, and the pieces look clean and feel well built. They accessorize nicely with several different decor items I've tried. I absolutely recommend these and would purchase again 5HappyI'm digging it. There was a chip or two on one of the pieces, but nothing to weep about. Putting it together was easy and it's relatively sturdy. It does what I need it to do and fits the corner of my living room perfectly. 4Great table.Great table. I was a little worried after reading some reviews about quality and how hard it would be to put together. I bought this for my baby s nursery as a side table. It s perfect. I put it together, with little to no knowledge of putting furniture together, in about 45 mins. It s super sturdy, my toddler has climbed on it already and it doesn t even move. Everything lined up perfectly- and again I don t know that I ve ever put something like this together so I thought for sure I d make a mistake. The color is exactly as pictured. I m thinking of getting a couple more for my boys room. 5Finished product looks good. Missing and cheap parts make assembly tougher than it needs to be.For the price, the finished product looks good. Assembly was a different issue. The cam bolts were about a 1/16th of an inch short so the cam locks wouldn't grab them if installed as instructed. I had to leave a little gap between the cam bolt base and the wood to "increase" the length a bit. The cam locks had to be handled with kid gloves or cheap metal they were made from would break. We had several pieces of hardware missing from one of the two we bought...the box had obviously been opened previously. Each of the units came with a piece of the glued on trim that had fallen off. Fortunately I have the skills and tools necessary to put the together even though parts were missing...was easier than messing with a return. Once again, then finished product looks good; they just lack the proper quality controls to make sure the consumer doesn't have issues putting them together. 3
