    Hair towel to match my body towels We started using peshtemal bath sheet sized towels last summer. My husband found Turkish Towel Company peshtemals on Costco.com and ordered some for my birthday. Initially I was sceptical about a non-terrycloth bath towel but soon found I prefer them.-absorbent. very. some of the plushest terry towels I've had seem to be perversely water repellant. peshtemals suck, in a good way-much less space in the laundry load - think of the money you might save if using a pay laundry-quick drying, so they can be used at least once more than terry towels without smelling like mildew-I'm taking a star off as these peshtemals are not as heavy weight as my bath sheet sized-another reason for the missing star is I believe the smaller towels became even smaller after washing, although I haven't measured them yet - will update with post wash dimensions.-as hair towels I find they make a tighter turban than many terry towels. no unwrapping and falling off.-I have medium/short but very thick hair. the peshtemal is soaked after being used as a turban yet my hair is no less dry than when using terry and the peshtemal dries in far less time, maybe 2 hours, instead of hanging wet for the rest of the day-these towels are a good size for a gym towel, baby towel or hair towel but large for a hand towel. I'm thinking of trying the next smaller size for hand towels, especially in my kitchen where the towels need changing dailyvery pleased, recommend. 4Good mid-size towel. Versatile. Light-weight and absorbent. I needed a light-weight towel to dry my hair after a shower. I have purchased other Turkish towels that I love because of their weight, size and absorbency. I spent a good deal of money for them - around $36 each - but they are too big for just drying my hair. This towel is the perfect size and does exactly what I want it to do. It's a bit more expensive than I would like, but it does perform well. 5Excellent Quality, beautiful towel LOVE these towels!! Great quality from Cacala. I mainly use them for decoration so I'm not sure about Thie absorption qualities.this picture does not do this towel justice...its beautiful in real life! A lot of other reviews say that they work better the more they are washed...not sure though. They are a unique, elegant hand towel. I've ordered total of 3 so far and that may not be the last! Highly recommend. 5but what I love the most is that I can tie them in ... I own two of these hand towels and just purchased two more. They get softer with each wash (I toss them in my dryer too, no shrinking and they have held up perfectly). They do absorb a lot, so are functional, but what I love the most is that I can tie them in a knot onto my hand towel hook, and then my small kids don't pull it off the wall when they dry their hands. I got sick of picking the hand towels off the floor after they'd use the bathroom. This way they always look nice if guests drop by, and less work for me! 5Tops in Towels Cacala makes a wonderful, absorbent cotton towel that is so soft and lovely to use. Not your regular sized face towel, the Cacal is a generous size at 23"x35" (add in the fringe for another 2" in length) so it can do the job. I actually wanted the olive green and the orange colors to use in the kitchen as dish towels and they are marvelous for drying dishes, leaving no lint behind. The colors are fab and really brighten up the the kitchen putting a smile on my face while doing a mundane chore. Thank you Cacala for quality products! 5these are so great! I bought this for a bathroom hand towel, because we love the full size so much! Originally purchased for travel to Belize for their quick dry, small space and light weight benefits. Now we use at home. They absorb really well and are so soft. Multiple washings make them increasingly softer and the absorbency improves with age. Plus they look chic in a modern bathroom. Not all Turkish towels are the same...this is the style we've found is the best. 5Love it! I was given a quick dry Turkish towel before. It s been wonderful, but I really needed more for the bathrooms as well as the kitchen. Great for drying your hands over and over while cooking or doing makeup. Sadly every other so-called quick dry Turkish towel wasn t quick dry. I have a collection of disappointments. This one is not only quick dry and the same great quality as my original, but it s a larger size. Not too big. Just perfect. A must have to save waste and mess. 5These are THE BEST Turkish towel These are beautiful, soft and absorbent. I use them as bathroom handtowels. They are thin -- this is the nature of a Turkish towel; so don't expect fat fluffy terrycloth. But this is why they are great as bathroom handtowels -- they dry so quickly. I recently purchased a second set from another Amazon seller to use as dishtowels -- what a mistake. The other seller's towels were more of a waffle-weave (these are a flat weave, like a bedsheet) and not absorbent at all; very disappointing. So be warned: all Turkish towels are NOT the same. And no, I was NOT paid to write this review, and I didn't get any free stuff either!!!! 5Hiking, Camping, Hostels, etc Although technically a "kitchen towel" this is perfect for taking on a distance hike and/or camping where you need a towel for showers, but don't want to carry a huge bath towel. Gets softer the more you wash it, very thin compared to a typical home bath towel, but very absorbent. Rolls up pretty small for packing purposes. Taking on the Camino for use in hostels. Size approx 2ft x 3ft 5Beautiful and functional I have been using Turkish bath towels for years now and finally decided to get turkish hand towels as well. So happy I did. Makes my dated rental-grade bathroom look and feel more spa-like. It also dries really quickly (I always feel gross drying my hands on damp towels). I like the grey and dark blue colors since they don't show any discoloration (sometimes I don't quite get all of my foundation or lipstick off when washing my face). They start a little rough if you are used to really plush towels but based on my experience with other Turkish towels I'm confident they will keep getting softer with each wash. 5
