    Nice wok when its new, but doesn't last longit is a nice size wok good while it is new. but it doesn't last. I bought one a year ago, on average I probably use maybe 2 times/week, so after about 100 times use (each time 2-5 minutes to make pan fried veggies), the protection layers all faded away and bottom no longer even.the Life Time warranty is a joke, first you have to pay to mail it back (which is almost $30+) and unless you can prove the wok is leak or soothing they consider it is "usable"so if you need a wok for a year then it's ok, but you can find a lot cheaper ones for a year. 2Actual rim measure is 10 3/4 so do NOT order the 10inch Calphon lid -- it is smaller than the pan rim!!!!!This is marketed as a 10 inch pan -- but it measures 10 and 3/4 inches across the rim. This means the 10inch glass lid recommended to go with it DOES NOT FIT!!!!!! 3it has great quality but it is not the size as stated ...I just received this wok, it has great quality but it is not the size as stated and printed 12" on the box and engraved on the bottom,(see picture) instead it really measures 13" inside diameter, 4" high, weighs 3 lb, 8.1 oz. I do not know how Calphalon could make this kind mistake.I love Calphalon products, particularly, Contemporary line, I have 10", 12" frying pans and Stainless 13" wok . I really need to have the 12" none stick wok (to replace my 5 year old Simply Calphalon 12" wok).I like to make everyone else to aware who look for the wok like I do to know what exact you will get. It is good for someone with strong arm or someone do not do one hand lifting.I hope Calphalon people will see this and hopefully make the correction very soon in the future. 5Simply the best Wok!!I've cooked using a wok for many years. I've had numerous woks of varying sizes, and from different manufacturers. This wok rises above them all! "It" cooks evenly, sears perfectly, and cleans without any effort at all. The size is smaller than I am used to, but works perfectly when cooking for between two and three people. For the price, and performance, you will be hard pressed to find a better wok. 5Nice product, on the smaller size for stir fry ...Nice product, on the smaller size for stir fry pans but it was purchased as a 16 year olds first pan so for her purpose it is perfect. As new cook she will surely get many good years of use from it! The Contemporary Calphalon series does not disappoint as it has even heating, easy to clean, durable, heavy elegant cookware! I would recommend this item to most! 5Tasty fried rice at homeI love this Wok. I make fried rice more often now since it turns out very good in this Wok. I also use this Wok to make south Indian sauteed vegetables so I am eating more veggies now. Head distribution is even, but it wont get as hot as a traditional wok (which is ok for me). Very easy to clean, it is dishwasher safe but I handwash it because it is so easy to clean it. 5This wok is great.. It's just the right size for stir ...This wok is great..It's just the right size for stir fry dinner for 2 or 3 people.It's nice and heavy with a very flat bottom.It works well on a smooth or glass top stove.Non-stick coating initially seems durable.Price was good in comparison to other similar items.The handle stays cool on the stove top.If needed, it's oven proof since the handle is metal. 5A must for any kitchen!This is truly the best kitchen purchase I ve even made! It s truly nonstick, and so easy to clean. I ve cooked everything from stir fry, fried rice, chicken, eggs, burgers and even pancakes in here thus far! I love my Calphalon wok, especially for the price. We ve been using it a lot in this past month and I don t see any visible signs of wear. 5Love this wokI love this pan. I ve owned a 14 steel wok for decades that is excellent for cooking larger amounts of food. I now have a smaller stove so this is perfect for a couple of people or side dishes. I always advised against nonstick woks, but this works beautifully for a number of occasions without the size and weight of its older brother, and cleanup is quick. This makes a great companion wok I use frequently. 5Awesome...I bought this for my wife at her request, since her old one had the non-stick coating peeling off. This is perfectly sized for cooking enough food for 2-4 people, yet small enough to not collect dust in the cabinet. I wish it had a lid, but we manage with other lids from other cookware. It heats nicely, is sturdy, cleans really fast and even our chef friends that come over to use it end up commenting on how nice it is. 5
