I love blankets and collect the softest ones I can find. THIS fur blanket beats them all! The fabric is layered by a fleece backing and a separated layer of fur attached to a soft mesh. Because of the separated layer, the blanket simulates what real fur feels like and the blanket takes on a life of its own when saturated with body heat. The sensation of running one's fingers through the fur is the same as petting a cat or dog. I ordered the burgundy and chocolate colors, and they look awesome together. The throw is not lightweight; I would say it's closer to middle- to heavyweight. It is certainly more substantial than your average fleece throw and more stylish. 5
