Elegant and durable. Buy these...Bought these to serve our 35th wedding anniversary cake. I placed a doily on each for an added touch of elegance. We used them as disposable. I had left over plates and have washed those in the dishwasher. Would buy again. 5Cracked, as expectedI read the reviews about this item having cracks in it when I ordered it. So, when I received the item I opened the 2 bubble-wrapped products open and each stack had 5 or 6 cracked plates. They seem sturdy so not sure why this is such an issue with this company but I think I'll keep them instead of dealing with the hassle to return them. There's too many other things to worry about for a wedding than 11 cracked plates but thought I should continue the thread on the quality. 3... plastic plates weren t just wrapped in a tissue paper like plastic then they would stay in place betterI know you say the breakage is not on you however perhaps if your plastic plates weren t just wrapped in a tissue paper like plastic then they would stay in place better. Maybe a heavier duty plastic would lessen the chances of them tearing through in transit. I received mine and they were out of the plastic wrapping and all over the box. About 12 were cracked. I read the reviews and expected the breakage but I only really need about 70 or so, so I figured it ll be worth the price I pay to lose a few. Hope this helps. 2Several plates were cracked and unusable upon arrivalI purchase these plates for a bridal shower. They are pretty little plates, and are sturdy enough to hold hors d'oeuvres or a sandwich. When they arrived, 8 out of the 50 were cracked and unusable. The original plastic wrapping over the set was not intact; however, it had been wrapped again in a small amount of bubble wrap and placed in a box which was large enough for there to be some movement of the plates. Perhaps the breakage occured during shipping. The box had not been labeled as fragile. I had to go out and purchase a few additional plates to be sure I had enough, so they didn't match. I will not purchase these again because it's not worth the money the not get as many usable plates as you paid for, and then have to go out and find more. 3Second time I ve ordered these platesThese plates were perfect for our events. I ordered them 2 years ago for our daughters wedding and I just ordered them again for a bridal shower. They are very study. Guests can fill up their plate and there is no worries about them breaking. I like that it s a tad smaller than a regular dinner plate and it looks nice on serving tables and guest tables.
