    Thinner than I expectedI was in a rush to buy these, so I'll be honest: I didn't really read the description. I was just so happy to find an affordable 12x12 frame! I bought two to place Andy Warhol posters in, and I wish I had read the description of the frames more closely. The frame is thinner than I expected and has a wood grain finish, not like a dark super thick, almost plastic finish. In other words: it's exactly like its description, but I would not recommend it for very modern artwork. No chips and was delivered on-time!4Couldn't Even Frame With It...Got this frame to frame a puzzle and wanted something inexpensive... Later realized that this is a drop shipment from China with really low quality, plus, the measurements weren't even exact so my puzzle didn't even fit by about an eighth of an inch. Also, note that it ins't real glass, it is this thick bendy plastic and thin cardboard for the back. The wood part of the frame met expectations which is why this isn't a one star.2Well made, packed well. Perfect!this frame is great. Corner joints meet up perfect and the finish has no dings or dents like I feared it might. It was packed suspended in the center of the box and it arrived in perfect shape. The tabs on the back are the kind not meant for frequent photo changes and the hanging tab is hinged and seems sturdy. This frame makes my son's portrait look even more awesome! Thank you for a quality product! I will be buying this brand again.5Worth the money!Perfect size! Plastic not glass which I actually like better because it wont break! Super happy and it came with a hanging kit!5It is okay....So for $30 I was hoping this would be a medium quality frame. Something better than the dollar tree/Michaels and something not to break the bank. The frame feels like it is made of balsa wood, it is plastic, not glass and the backing is cardboard like an amazon box. Pretty cheap quality for $30 it does the job but for $30 was hoping for more, should be a $10 frame.2Not a bad deal for the price.Okay, this is a very cheap frame. It's got a plexiglass cover instead of glass. Here's some comments I'd like to make about it overall:Upon arriving, I was surprised about the environmental footprint this item has made. The packaging seems extreme. It's wrapped in a lot of cardboard, with plastic straps, plastic sheeting on the plexiglass, and tape. It was packaged well, yes, but I think it would have arrived even with reduced packaging.I didn't mind the plexiglass front. Even though the frame looks "wooden," it overall feels very cheap. However, at this price point, I didn't even mind this, because once my print was framed, it looks great. On the wall, it's not going to see much movement anyway.This did come with mounting materials, extra than what was needed. Actually, it came with screws to mount the back hangers. I found that all I needed was metal tacks (not plastic), and those worked better than screws. But, I appreciated that it came with mounting hardware at all.Finally, I was disappointed that the backing was simple cardboard. The package could have been complete if it had come with acid-free, foam-core board instead. I would have even paid extra for that. There was no matting with this frame, as I had fully expected. Overall, I was pleased with this product and would buy again.4Very nice frameIt is difficult to find a nice but inexpensive 12x18 frame in stores--trust me, I looked in many stores! I needed to frame a small poster, so did not want to spend a fortune on a frame for just a poster. Luckily, Craig Frames had exactly what I needed! This frame looks very nice (nice to have wood instead of plastic) and the acrylic insert (I paid a few dollars more to add it) looks great. The frame was very securely packaged and arrived in a timely fashion. The company also updated me via email when it had shipped. Excellent service and an excellent product! I will be back the next time I need a frame!5Excellent frame for the price It's very difficult to find frames that are inexpensive. It's even MORE difficult to find frames that are inexpensive AND of decent quality. Fortunately I have found these! I have purchased at least 10 of these "Craig" frames in various sizes so far and am 100% satisfied. I will certainly buy more in the future 5This is a great frame for the priceThis is a great frame for the price. Frames can be so expensive. I like the wood on this. It is painted black, but you can still tell that it is wood. The plastic is much better than I expected. I have other frames with plastic and they don't look good. This looks great. It is light weight, so hanging was easy. Very happy with this purchase.5Good frame, came with mounting hardware of different typesGood frame, came with mounting hardware of different types. Shipped promptly in a good box. My only request would be supplying some instructions for using all the hanging hardware, I ended up improvising with what was provided.48 x 10 Craig Photo FramesI love these frames. I wouldn't exactly say they have a wood grain, but they serve my purposes just perfectly. I had purchased prints from a different source for my kitchen and then mats to go with them, the frames set them off perfectly. They are just the perfect touch for these pictures. And they were easy to use, they arrived within a few days of ordering and were very well packaged and in excellent condition.Again, I love these frames.5Cheapest frame I've ever seen - HORRIBLE I was excited to order three frames that were exactly the right size for my posters, but when they arrived I could not believe how shoddy the quality is - I would expect to see something like these in the $4 bin at Michael's, instead of $25 each from Amazon. I am incredibly disappointed, and think that the great reviews of these frames must have been written by an employee of the company - they are truly horrible and cheap. They don't even feel like wood, have flimsy plexiglass on the fronts, and aren't truly black because of the poor quality of the paint. AVOID these at all costs.UPDATE - the screws provided to hang the frame split the frame when I was trying to assemble, as the screws are thicker than the frame itself. Complete and total waste of money, and once you open them up you can't repack and return them. 1
