Sturdy With Differing Sizes These are great; now I have multiple sizes of ladles to choose from. They have nice long handles for tall pots and the stainless steel is great for putting them through the dishwasher. 5great gift.my mother in law mentioned needed ladles of differing sizes. so I got her this set. she says it's perfect. soups/stews/gravys/punches she has the perfect size she needs and the handles are long enough they dont slip into the mixture.5Nice! Great set for the price. Definitely not the junk stamped kind (the edges are not sharp). Getting a couple more sets. 5Great for serving drinksGreat for serving drinks at my wedding. I chose these 8 ounce ladles because they would be faster to fill 16 oz drinking cups than those cute beverage jars with the spouts that take forever to fill a cup. One wedding I went to had long lines for drinks being served out of four of those jars. They're cute, but not efficient. I purchased 2 gallon glass jars for tea and lemonade then used these ladles to serve - much faster!5Works Fine - Solid MetalI needed a set of ladles for my business that were all metal, these are stainless steel, these are value priced in my opinion. The handle could be a little more comfortable and the edges are a little bit sharp and uncomfortable when holding but for the price they are good enough for me. Fully functional. Rating 4 stars = Like It.4Pretty utilitarian Nothing special about these. They're functional is about all I can say. 3Absolute Piece of JunkAs far as behaving as a ladle, it works. Quality and craftsmanship on this are so far from existent, it's not even funny. The stainless steel plating is spitting and full of pits and has oxidation forming on the handle already. The handle is completely scratched up and the edges are rough. It seems whoever ground this to shape seemed to forget to use finer grits. The connection between the ladle bowl and handle is extremely poor, and I highly doubt it could hand any sort of stress testing.Yes, this is a cheap ladle and you get what you pay for. If I had known this in advance, I never would have bought it. Don't waste your money, do yourself a favor and get a better tool from a company with some pride in their craftsmanship.1I gave it 3 stars because I can work around it and the shipping was super fast.These ladles are study enough for my needs, however, they are not accurate at all.The ones I received measure out (filled to the rim) as follows:2oz = 1.95oz; 4oz. = 3.85; 6 oz = 6.40 oz and the 8oz is only 6.75.So if your looking accuracy, I would look somewhere else. I gave it 3 stars because I can work around it and the shipping was super fast.3Nice product! These ladels are made from one piece of metal, which makes them more resistant to breaking and rusting. I'm impressed with the sizes that came with it. There's everything from a big soup ladel to a nice gravy ladel. 5They work Nothing special about them. They are sturdy and will last forever. They are commercial grade with basic comfort. I would recommend them. 5Useful but sharp around the edgesThese are of simple, all-one-piece, stamp and bend construction. They work. They should last a long time. They have value at the price they sell for.But beware, They are poorly made . The bowl section is well formed and the edges somewhat deburred and smooth. The handles appear to have had no processing other than stamping and bending. The edges are rough and in some places sharp. This becomes more of a problem with the 6 and 8 ounce ladles as the weight when full causes the handle to dig into and attempt to cut the hand. Given that these are one-piece steel construction I can probably grind them to make them more user-friendly but this should have been done by the manufacturer..The volumes held are stamped on the handle in both ounces and milliliters. This is convenient However, the actual volumes are off an average of 10% with the largest deviation being 18% under on the 6 ounce unit.I give only three stars because I should not have to wear protective gloves to use a ladle.3I use these in my paint shop to ladle paint ...I use these in my paint shop to ladle paint out of 5 gallon buckets into mixing containers... not your average application but really works well for us!!5Nice sturdy ladles even for home use.They do what they are intended to do. No issues with the functionality aspect. Definitely can't leave it in the hot pot and try to grab it since the entire ladle is metal. Haven't done it, but it's something I would do. We have these in the kitchen at work, but I bought these for home.5Think Carefully Before Buying...They Are Not THAT Great :(I've wanted a stainless steel, eight-ounce ladle for a very long time. When searching for one on Amazon I found several at reasonable prices. I also found these for only a dollar or two more. So, I figured, "Why not have four ladles for almost the same price?" That is where my mistake was made. Yes, these are stainless steel, but in what I am sure is a much thinner gauge than those other eight-ounce ladles that cost almost as much as these four. Unfortunately, the cost to return these in exchange for just one large gauge, eight-ounce ladle isn't fiscally responsible. I will make do with these, but not happily.3Cheap and it works wellI bought these for serving large quantities of soup and stew at a gathering for our church. It works well and holds up fine. But it's not the nicest or most solid feeling ladle out there. The ends can be a bit sharp, though they will not cut you. Most likely the handle is stamped out with a big press and the edges don't get any smoothing out. But at this price, that's a relatively small quibble.3
