Very flexible and bright Used to to make a light up whip antenna for my buggy. Got it wrapped nice and tight without any of the leds going out. The leds seem to be the same throughout without getting dimmer the further away from the power end as you get with other led strips. Now only time will tell how they hold up. 5Poor finish and constructionI was looking forward to this product, at first glance it looked fine, but I flipped the reel to the other side and you can see defects in the water proof coating. As I rolled the strip out, I noticed that at every solder(18inches) there is a hump so it won t lay flat and stick in those spots. There is a spot where a trace is sticking out from between the tape and the LED backing. There is at least one cold solder point (i ll try to upload pics). When I finally got the spot where you could see the coating imperfection, it was stuck to the back of the layer over it, and even ripped a chunk of coating off the LEDs. Other spots simply didn t have any. Seems like it was rolled up while the coating was still wet/hot. I am going to request and exchange and update when I get the new roll. I m not even going to test the strip Incase there is a short somewhere. Not putting my power supply at risk.1Order 2, One Faulty, One Works (well)I ordered two of these; Normally I order a different brand, but I needed some 600 LED strips, so I went with this FAVOLCANO brand instead. I ordered two of the RED LED Strips, one did not work and its not worth the gas in my truck to take them to UPS to return them, the other strip however seems to work well, no defective LEDs that I've seen so far.I expected them to be brighter than the usual 300 LED strips that I order from another company, how ever they are about the same lumens So wasn't really worth spending the extra $2 to get the 600 LED strips, and the worse part is the FAVOLCANO company doesn't make a matching 600 LED Amber/Orange strip so I'm sorta SOL now; but my fault for not researching before buying.2Very Bright!Wrapped these around pvc pipe to make an underwater light for night fishing. This whole strip wrapped around a 2 ft piece of pipe makes for a blinding light. Much cheaper to make your own instead of purchasing a light pre-made. I have yet to use the light to see how well it works for catching fish, but all the led's function properly.5Not as bright as I was led to beleive Thought with 2 strings of these lights would out preform my 50 watt florescent lamp, but failed about 1/2 as bright 3Not waterproof. Bought 4 sets for the boat definitely not waterproof. Used heat shrink connectors and marine grade wire. Very disappointed. 1Shipping was horrible, NOT PRIME SHIPPINGI bought over 50 units. Shipping was horrible, NOT PRIME SHIPPING. LED's are NOT as advertised! QUALITY is below par, 1 out of 6 would fail within minutes because of poor connections to wires, had to resolder. Size is 7mm, not the .08cm as listeD, WHICH MAKES A DIFFERENCE when ordering other components, Length is APPROXIMATE only! I threw away a lot......1Look great but will need a better mounting methodLights look great and are easy to trim to size. Downfall is the adhesive it wants to peel off while removing backing and after installed doesn't last long so be prepared to have to glue or some other mounting.3Best LED Strips made... Best DIY LED Strips money can buy. I've now spent hundreds of dollars on these (different colors) LED Strips by Favolcano. I will never buy another brand of strips again. I will say the adhesive isn't great but I'm buying for the LED Strip anyways and besides I prefer super glue or my own double sided tape depending on the application.THANK YOU, FAVOLCANO!!! 5VERY BRIGHT LIGHTS powered by 28lb POWERSAFE SBS 40 12 VOLT/38ah BATTERYThis going on my 16 jonboat that has wrap around WHITE LED lights. Will be installed as additional NAV lighting for safety. Same easy cut and solder "IF" you have correct gun and small wire solder. This makes small wire LED lighting connecting a snap.5Not too bad Overall the lights work great just the wire is weak during installation it broke with little effort losing 5 feet of the light. You will have to buy connection which was a pain to find to attach to a newer pontoon. 3Great lights, look awesome on our golf cart at night!I bought these to add some underglow lighting to our golf cart. They work great! I cleaned the frame rails with degreaser and let them dry, then attached the lights and made all my wiring connections. The waterproof light strips I've purchased seem to have much better tape on them vs the non-waterproof ones for some reason.. They have been sticking perfectly on the frame rails for about 6 months now, and show no signs of coming off.The waterproof strips are kind of a pain if you have to splice them together - there are videos on youtube with some hints on how to do it, but if you have to splice them, I suggest cutting off a couple of small pieces and practicing on them before doing it to the one long run you need to ultimately do. Once I got the pads exposed, I soldered wires directly to them, and then covered them with black liquid electrical tape to seal them. They've been working great, even with the vibration and moisture under the golf cart.The picture I included is with one strip down the length of each side of the cart. They're nice and bright and look great at night!5Worth $10 but not much moreThese LEDs are more limber than other bends I have felt. That could be a good thing depending on your application.The rubber coat over the LEDs is thinner which is beneficial in areas, such as a tube, where there are tight tolerances with regards to I.D.These lights are resolderable, but you will need a fine tip and thin solder.As another reviewer stated, these lights get dimmer the further from the power source the LEDs are. I used all but 8" of a 16.4' roll, and there is a noticable difference from the end with the leads to where I cut it.I'll post a review for longevity next summer, if they last that long.3Clean the surface well. Lights are bright as expected and very easy to install. Only issue is the adhesive doesn't last long. But there are many alternatives to fix with. 5What color Ordered 4 different colors, there are no markings anywhere identifying color. Makes it rather tough to start something that uses blue LED and you end up using red. 3 hours of wasted time 3Great for the price.These were $10... nuf said. Did they adhere good? Yeah... but I cleaned the surface and rubbed with rubbing alcohol to promote good adhesion. I would have liked VHB tape a lot better, but these were $10. So far, so good. Look at the pictures. There is no remote control, but not a problem. I do not like that. It looks good. I like it... if it lasts.5Very easy to installWell got these lights and mounted on my kayak. Very easy to install. When I turned them on they are much brighter than the ones I replaced so. Dry happy about that. Can t say a whole lot about adhesion cbut it seemed pretty sticky like my old ones but since there will be a lot of water around then I used gorilla glue spray heavy duty to mount them. Haven t had them long enough to see how long they will last but as of the moment very happy with them and will recommend. Will update after a few months of being on the water.5
