Cute and practical tea pot server! Love it.
Such a cute tea pot for serving. Holds 4-6 cups depending on the size of one's tea cups. Functional style - easy to handle and pour from. Very attractive and pours without dripping. Keeps tea hot for a long time for second cups.
5Brings the family together
I ordered this large teapot because I was tired of making 4 separate mugs of tea. It comfortably makes 4 mugs of tea. I have used 4 tea bags in it or loose tea with the large Finum infuser suggested by Amazon. It is a beautiful and functional pot. Some have complained of dribbling, but I have found it only does that when it is very full and you tip it too far. My only complaint is that mine came with a very small chip out of the end of the spout. The pot was inexpensive, and I was anxious to use it so I didn't send it back. Now when I say "tea time" everyone comes to the table and we enjoy some time together.
5Wrong Color - twice!! Brown is not yellow.
I bought the yellow teapot that I really enjoyed. I cracked it, so ordered another. Twice I received a brown teapot.Should I give up on replacing the one I liked?
1So definitely the best I'm currently able to find
I've been looking for something that at least comes close to the old, high-grade Chatsford pots that I used to be able to get from Upton Tea. This comes fairly close, although I had to buy a separate tea leaf strainer insert. It's not as big as the Chatsford 10-cup, but bigger than their 6-cup. So definitely the best I'm currently able to find. (Assuming it holds up, of course.)
5Good size, a little trouble with the lid
I was looking to replace a larger teapot recently broken. Finding an inexpensive teapot this large is a challenge, and this one fits the bill nicely. It arrived well-packaged, no chips or anything broken. My one complaint is that the lid fits too tightly. When there is hot tea in the pot, the ceramic must expand a bit because I cannot get the lid to sit all the way in the opening created for it. Of course, I can just hold the lid with a finger as I pour to keep the lid from falling off, but it is ironic that the manufacturer's clear attempt to make the lid fit securely without need to hold it has, indeed, caused the problem it was intended to fix. I have mostly solved this problem for myself by keeping the lid in the refrigerator when not in use. When the teapot is hot and the lid is cold, it slips on nicely.
4much smaller than promised
This is a well made, cute little teapot, key word being LITTLE. I ordered it primarily because it promised to be a 55 ounce, 10 cup teapot. It seemed very small, and upon measuring, held barely 6 cups of water/tea. I will keep it as we can still use it, but will be looking for a teapot that holds a larger volume, as did my favorite teapot that I recently broke..
2As advertised, but arrived scratched
My new little tea pot is exactly what it is supposed to be, a solid ceramic tea pot, large enough to brew several cups of tea at a go.The manufacturing seems fine. The teapot has a nice heft to it and the ceramic is thick enough that I'm not worried about the pot getting banged around a bit during daily use. Mine did arrive with a couple of minor scratches in the finish, but, for me, they are not bad enough to warrant returning an otherwise perfectly usable teapot.Took one star off due to the scratches.
4Pleased So Far :)
I just received my pot today and have already used it. Quite pleased! I wanted something to make it so I didn't have to keep brewing more cups and could keep things warm a little longer, and so I could make more use of the not-so-cheap tea I used up (Teavana - anjou pearadise + tock sugar+ youthberry/wild orange blend. Nom, nom.), rather than feeling as though I were wasting it. I chose this one because I liked the shape better than some of the other ones on the site. Like the others said, it can hold about 6 cups but it can also be quite heavy, so I will probably stick to 4 cups. It did great for my four cups of tea and poured nicely without any spillage. No damage, mars or scratches, and it looks cute. According to the label on the bottom, and for those who like to keep track, it's made in Malaysia. It looks very similar to a sugar and creamer set I got from Crate and Barrel, so I'm quite pleased with that too. I'm actually a little surprised it cost so little; I wasn't expecting it to be so nice. It only kept the tea how for about and 1 hour and 45 minutes, but that's better than nothing--at least until I can get a thermal carafe or a tea warmer.
5I love this Tea Pot
This tea pot is exactly what I have been looking for. I looked at the Mall in the chain stores and found only 1 or so that were pricy and had a small capacity. I wanted a piece that I can leave on my counter just like my coffee maker and that's just what I got with this tea pot. It looks like a more costly pot but that isn't why I chose it. This pot is sturdy enough for every day and I use it every day. I like the fact that the handle doesn't get hot, it pours nicely and by using a "cozy", the tea stays hot long enough to have that second cup for both Hubby & me. After several weeks I am totally satisfied with my purchase, I found the right pot for function, capacity, durability, and at a very affordable price. You can't go wrong with this item if you want a good every day pot, the dark color is a bonus as it will not take on the "stained "look from brewing daily. A quick rinse out is all that is needed.

The first pot to arrive, arrived in five pieces due to poor packaging. It took Amazon customer service less than two minutes to have a replacement sent on its way to me. The replacement arrived the very next morning, not 24 hours after the first (damaged) one had arrived, this one with substantially better packaging. Had the issues ended there, I would have been very satisfied; the pot is very cute and the color is exactly as described. However, the top of the pot is so poorly made and so poorly fitting to the pot that no application of force, wiggling, or liquid is getting it back out. My pot is now useless, I can't open the top to pour water into it. My next teapot will certainly be something a more familiar brand.
