Great quality for the price!!These are better than what I was hoping for! Somehow missed in the description they were metal. I was excited to discover this when I received them because that is added value! They are solid and beautiful! I bought them specifically because they are slightly bigger than the average size cover. They fit great! Had no problem with screws as others have mentioned. Out of six covers one of them did end up having a spot that got missed in painting but it is hardly noticeable since it's on the side. I love these and will be ordering more and the matching outlet covers! I wish they hadn't raised the price since I bought them though.5Terrible quality finish, and harder to install with such short screwsI ordered over 30 Franklin Brass wallplate covers. Over half had significant blemishes in the finish in each of the colors I ordered. And as other reviewers have noted, the screws they provide are short - HALF as many threads as the screws provided with plastic plates that cost (literally) 1/10 as much. They don't even provide the little screw retainers that even the cheapest brands provide, which, combined with such short screws, makes these unnecessarily hard to install. See the photo of a freshly opened box of 5, where 3 of the 5 have significant blemishes, and the photo of a closeup of the blemish.1LOVE these coversA lovely, subtle but upgraded change to my plates and covers in and around the house. The price was low and overall I love the look. I took white spray paint and sprayed some into the bottom of a paper cup. Them quickly dipped my finger into the pool of paint and touched up the corners. Worked perfectly! I really like the looks and replaced most of my plate covers on my main floor. Because they are slightly larger than a standard plastic cover plate, they didn't fit in areas where a molding was close, so that was disappointing.My 2 complaints are that this pattern isn't offered in all configurations and I had gfi outlets and combo outlets for which this company does not offer plates and that the screws don't fit and I had to use the cheaply painted screws from my old plastic covers, instead of the high gloss painted screws that came with them. The screw holes on the plates were all filed or smooth either, so some took some pushing to get through. Even with that, I would still buy them again, and if I move, I will take them with me.5Looks high quality.Make sure to use a screwdriver and not a drill when putting in the screws because the paint is pretty fragile.Otherwise great purchase. These fit the space exactly and I used the provided screws with no issues whatsoever. Everything lined up and they were switched out in seconds. What a difference. I installed in the master hallway and at my vanity table to see how I liked them. Glad I found these.5Four Stars Very nice quality.
