    The Best Detergent I've Used!I have never written a review before, but this detergent is so awesome that I feel others need to know so they don't hesitate to purchase it. We were having trouble with a mildew/mold smell in our relatively new Bosch front-loader washer, a common problem with front-loaders, unbeknown to us. We tried everything: running bleach though it, using washing machine cleaner, and trying different types of detergent sold in stores. Nothing worked! I was ready to buy a new washer until we decided to try something natural to see if the problem was due to gunky detergent build up. After using these once, our whole washer smelled cleaner and had no more sign of mold or mildew. Still now, after a couple of weeks, our washer is clean and free from its usual yucky smell. To top it off, this detergent works like a dream to remove dirt (I have two young boys, so we know dirt), stains, and odors (I'm an avid runner and this has removed the smell from my running clothes better than anything I've ever used), and they are good for the environment. I purchased the Birch Branch scent and it is wonderful-very clean, yet earthy. Even my husband, who typically couldn't care less about laundry detergent, commented on how wonderful it smelled. I can't wait to try the other scents! I would recommend this to everyone and am now a loyal customer of the Grab Green Stoneworks laundry pods. 5Good quality ingredientsI got Birch Branch scent. I was expecting something earthier and hippie-er. I get some patchouli nuances for sure, but it primarily has a very basic "laundry detergent" smell. Good quality ingredients, leaves no residue on clothes. 4A great product for an awesome priceI purchased these laundry pods because I was going through liquid laundry detergent too quickly (using too much in each load) and wanted to use premeasured amounts. I also wanted to avoid the big plastic jugs the liquid came in. The pods are awesome. The are free of the bad stuff, smell great, are way better for the environment, and have saved me a ton of money. The only reason I gave them 4 stars overall is because they don't always fully desolve in load. Maybe they get wrapped up in a shirt or something, I'm really not sure. Otherwise a fantastic product. It would be cool to see a liquid pod similar to Tide pods in the future. 4Birch Oak smells amazing!After my long search for a natural detergent that actually works I have finally found it.This cleans well and softens the laundry so there is no need for a separate fabric softener, plus I no longer have to worry about the harmful chemicals of commercial detergents and fabric softeners.The Birch Oak scent is amazing, I read the reviews of all the scents, and there were 2 that people said had a stronger fragrance that lasted, Birch Oak being one of them, so I went with it. It is not over powering at all, it is a bit masculine, but not terribly so...to me it smells fresh.Men reading this review: my husband, who does not wear any sort of unisex/floral/ "girly" cologne, LOVES this scent. 5Natural, smells great and no rashI'm so glad I found this detergent! I really love the scent, it makes the clothes soft and fresh, and our sensitive skin people in the house do not get any skin rash or irritation from it. I'm slowly replacing the free and clear with this for all our laundering needs, and so far so good. I do not have any issues with pods dissolving... but I have a front loading washer/dryer that is only 2 years old (LG top of the line). I have done warm, cold and hot wash with no dissolve problems. I pair this up with Mrs. Meyer's recyclable dryer sheets, we are going totally green. Also... I was able to get (toddler)urine and chocolate stains out with no trouble at all. 5Easy to use, good cleaning powerI've made my own laundry soap, both powder and liquid, for several years. I bought this on a whim, because even with my homemade powder, I often ended up with powder "stains" on my laundry. I wash almost everything in cold water. I've used almost the whole pack of these pods, and I haven't found any powder stains on my clothes. The pods in the package are fairly strongly scented, but when my clothes are clean, they don't smell overpowering. 5My Only DetergentI love love love this detergent. I was looking for something that smelled good and was good for us that didn't result in itching. I tried a lot of brands and this one was by far the best. Then I tried all of the scents and Oak was the family winner. It is a great product and I am very happy to have found it. 5Pods do not always dissolve.I liked that the product is natural and have been using them for a while now, however, the last order I received the pods are not dissolving. I contacted Stone Works customer service dept. They told me there is not an issue, so I have posted a pic of the hard leftover pods. When you are left with a giant clump of undissolved pod, it is a waste of water with an end result of dirty clothes. 2Have used this product for 3 years - Cleans well, is septic tank friendly, and eco-responsibleI have long looked for a laundry detergent pod that works well, and is and created by a company that is eco-responsible in its manufacturing and packaging. I truly appreciate the company's transparency and environmental commitment, and am very pleased with the Grab Green Stoneworks overall performance. I have used these pods for several years now and would like to share my experience. They dissolve completely in hot, warm, and cold water in an HE washing machine. Only 2-3 times have the pods not fully dissolved, and it was because we overpacked the washing machine. They clean my clothes, towels, dish cloths, bedding, etc, very well - as well as any other brand I have used. I still use a stain spray on really tough spots - such as grease or oil. I have family members with sensitive skin, and this brand did not cause any issues or allergic reactions. In terms of fragrance, I prefer the rose petal for its subtle, light, fresh scent - even my husband likes it - it is not an overly floral fragrance at all (the other scents I have tried are a little too earthy for me - birch, oak tree, olive, etc). The scent will not stay on the clothes long after you take them out of the dryer. While I love the smell of clean laundry, I personally don't want it to stay on my clothes for a long period of time - if it does, it means there are chemical additives in the detergent that stay on your "clean" clothes and against your skin! Also, I feel comfortable using the detergent with a septic tank, given their ingredients and how well they dissolve in water. I also have used the Grab Green Lavender and Vanilla pods - they work really well, too. 5Definitely replacement for store brands.I've just always bought Tide because of the abundance of coupons and that it's always what my mom used. I figured, I'd try something new.I'm glad I did! My clothes are softer, cleaner, and smell better. There's no weird film, there's no weird fabric feeling.I've recommended this laundry detergent to friends, and I plan on making this my new laundry soap. 5
