    Forge was betterGot this to replace a CamelBak Forge that broke after many years. Didn t like the new lid at all. Felt funny, kind of in the way when drinking, but the worst part was that you have to tilk way up when drinking. Not so good when driving. Did keep my coffee hot for a long time though .3No No NoDo not buy this for any reason. Stop and move on. This thing is terrible.I thought with the Camelbak name it would be safe but it does not keep anything hot, period. I preheated it with boiling water and then added super hot coffee and like 30 mins later it was lukewarm. The problem, I think, is the design of the lid -- there's too much "negative space" under the lid but above the liquid, and the lid itself leaks heat very rapidly. The twisty thing to close the lid is also an irritatingly poorly designed obnoxious piece of plastic, and it hits you in the nose when you try to take a sip. Seriously I don't know how this turkey got through testing and into production. It's embarrassingly bad and Camelbak should be ashamed of themselves. Luckily I returned it for a full refund.The bottle itself is gorgeous for the record. I took a pic for this review but can't find it, sorry about that. But it's still not worth it in any way. Don't buy this. Period.1Just what I was looking for I really enjoy this mug - it's just what I was after. A 360 drink mug with vacuum insulation that was suited for hot drinks. I love CamelBak and I love the price on this bottle. I have a short drive and just need a good mug to put in my car and keep my coffee/tea hot at my desk. Perfect! If anything it works a bit too well so make sure you don't put too hot of liquid in there or you'll be waiting all day. 5Small size is easy to handle This mug is easy to handle and is just the right size for an 8 oz cup of coffee. It keeps the coffee just as warm as any of my other mugs. The lid works nicely, is spill proof and you can drink out of any side. My only very minor complaint is that when unwinding the lid to drink out of it, it makes a noticeable click noise which I had hoped to avoid since I wanted to use this in a church service. I just have to remember to slowly open it. Then it is silent. 5Keeps it warm, doesn't leakThis insulated tumbler does what it is supposed to do. It keeps my tea warm, and doesn't leak when I carry it, even if I tip it over. That's sort of an expectation when you purchase an insulated drinking cup like this. What I really like is the cap design. I've tried several other insulated drinking cups and the typical shortcoming, for me anyway, is when I go to drink from them. I either get the "dribble cup" effect down my chin, or almost nothing comes out, or the beverage runs down the side of the cup all over my hand. So far, the CamelBak "hot cap" design has exhibited none of those problems. You can, as the ads say, drink from any side of the cup without it going everywhere. I also like that the cap is easy to disassemble and clean, and seems like a pretty durable design.5Updated after using, all around perfect tumbler*update after a week of using the mug*Hot coffee with added cold cream stays piping hot 8 hours with the stopper closed. It insulated significantly better than most tumblers, so we'll that I've found the coffee stays a little too piping hot in the morning. I typically leave the lid off for 10-15 minutes to let it cool at first.The screw in stopper does not need to be in place to use the mug. You can remove that stopper and just use the mug similarly to a capless yeti or Ozark tumbler. I've found this is the easiest if you use it every day, the coffee doesn't spill and it still stays very hot.5The best I've ever triedBuy this. Seriously - I filled it with ice and a cold drink one morning and there were still ice cubes rattling around the next morning. Hot beverages stay hot for the duration of the drink. And nothing spills out.5The best little tumbler I never knew I needed!I absolutely love this thing!!! It's the perfect little size to take out with you during the day and maybe even swing by Starbucks and grab a tall drink. If you're trying to reduce the amount of waste you produce you lug around a bunch of items. This tumbler isn't too heavy and most importantly it doesn't leak! Every other travel cup I have owned has always leaked a minimal amount, but not this guy! I took this thing everywhere with me. It's pricey, but totally worth it. Unfortunately, it was snagged from my car when I went in for a repair a couple of weeks ago, but I will definitely be repurchasing. (Also keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot)5Great quality!Love this! Really keeps hot liquid hot and cold, cold. I purchased the CamelBak Chute Mag Universal Replacement Cap separately and it fits great! Now I can use w hot or cold. I love this travel coffee cup! It does not spill or leak when the top is closed!!! It keeps coffee hot! It is a lovely red! I only wish there was a 16 oz cup. The 12 oz is a little small (since it keeps coffee hot!) and 20 oz is too big.5Keeps my coffee hot for so long its insane... Uhm, I honestly didn't even know things like this could exist. I left my coffee in this overnight and it was still hot the next day! Yes, literally the next day and it was like it came straight off the stove... I couldn't believe it! 5Good bottleMy wife gave me this bottle for Christmas. It does a great job of keeping my coffee hot. But.... the way the top is made, with the dispenser right in the middle, makes it impossible to drink all the coffee without having to unscrew the lid when it's almost empty. No biggie, just a little inconvenient. And it's not dishwasher safe, so I have to wash it by hand. But it's well insulated.4Camelbak bottles rock!Love Camelbak bottles. The quality is great and the bottles keep temperature for many hours. Also they look good.5
