Customer Reviews

AVOID! Neck opening moves around nose and mouth! This is dangerous, especially for small babies. We purchased this sleeping back along with a Halo of the same size. Our baby is within the weight parameters and is average size. The neck of this sleeping bag is too large and allows the fabric to bunch up around the face, especially near the nose and mouth. This is incredibly dangerous-while holding our baby in this sleeping bag and preparing to put her into her bassinet to sleep, I was upset to see that the V neck had bunched up and covered her mouth and the lower part of her nose. So dangerous, as suffocation is leading risk factor for SIDS! I have not let my child sleep in this and returned it. The halo sleeping bags have a different design and a smaller opening which does not have the same issue. Don't cheap out-this is a dangerous product!1Doesn't unzip from the bottom at allVery soft and adorable arrow print. I also ordered the Halo sleeping bag (left) as you can see from the picture. The halo is way better quality and I love the zipper opening at the bottom so you can change the diaper without waking your baby.My only problem is that the size large is HUUUUGE...my son is almost 12 months, 21 lbs, and very tall so I thought large would be okay after shrinking. Nope. Going to need a medium because the large is too large and it's unsafe for them if they can get it over their heads and shoulders. The Hudson baby Muslin bag runs narrower and slightly smaller and it has no way to unzip from the bottom, which is why it only gets 3 stars. I like sleep sacks that zip up towards the neck because then you don't have to hook together the zipper at the neck and zip down towards feet, but this one doesn't have a separate zipper at the bottom for diaper changes like other brands do.3Very poorly designed and a hazard for babies. The ...Very poorly designed and a hazard for babies. The zipper zips up and rests at the top of the sack, unlike other sleep sacks that zip down. My son cut his mouth on the zipper and bled on the sack and crib during naptime.1By far better than expensive halosI bought 2 expensive halo muslin sleep sacks for my older son at $30.00 each. I found these on Amazon and just received them today. The quality is much better than the Halos, and I got 2 for the price of one. I'm very impressed! And I highly recommend these to anyone in the market to keep their babies warm and safe without using blankets. We got the XL and they are plenty big and can probably be used until at least 3-4 years of age. My 2.5 yr old is pretty small and he has plenty of room to grow into them. He calls them his blankets and will not sleep without one on. I'm so very pleased.5Small. Size up.I purchased the 0-6 month AND the 6-12 month for my then 3.5 month old. I sent back the 0-6 month size as it seemed she didn't have much room to kick and move. She is currently still wearing the 6-12 month size at almost 5 months. No problems with washing and drying. No pilling, thread pulls, holes, etc. When she grows out of this size, I will happily get her the next size up.5Awesome two pack! Some of the reviews citing plastic zippers and poor quality made me nervous, but with free returns I figured I would see for myself.I am quite pleased with these sleep sacks so far. The muslin is so soft, zipper is quality metal and zips well, they both washed well (I washed them inside out on gentle cycle), and bottom up zip is excellent.I purchased the XL and installed snaps on the armpits so that it can be safely fitted to my 9 month old baby. I saw snaps like this on $100 sleep sacks, but a snap installer tool costs $8-20. Baby is sound asleep right now!5I LOVE THIS SLEEP SACKI LOVE THIS SLEEP SACK!!! I have tried many brands of sleep sacks, and hated all others, except the expensive Halos...but I have a new favorite. This muslin is thicker than the Halo muslin, yet still breathable, and MUCH softer. It feels like a cozy blanket. My 13 month old held it up to her face and cuddled up into it, which she never does. I will definitely be ordering more!!!5Super snuggly, good for varying temps. Our babe is a hot sleeper but we keep a chilly house. This muslin sleeper is great for varying temps. We just modify what she has on under it, from nothing but a diaper to fleece pjs. She really loves the comfort of sleeping with a blanket and this is big enough to give her the sensation of having one but not so big it would cause problems. I bought a jersey knit sack from this same company at the same time but we always reach for this one, o wish I had returned the sea gulls and gotten the lemon muslin. I think it also helps her when we travel to have a blankie that she has to wear no matter where we spend the night, and it smells like her/home.5Runs short but my favorite over Halo and AdenI've used Aden and Anais classic and cozy muslin sleeping bags for the past 2.5 years with my daughter and son. My son is now 12 months old and I ordered the 12-18 month size of this to try. He is 31 inches tall in the 85th percentile for height and only had an extra inch or two for length, so I exchanged it for the 18-24 month size. This sack shrunk a lot with the first wash and was a couple inches shorter than both the Halo and Aden muslin sacks in the 12-18 month size. But once we got our sizing figured out, this sack is awesome. I can't believe it is so much cheaper than the other two brands. It is just as soft as the Aden ones and it feels softer and cozier than the Halo one (which feels surprisingly thin and cheap to me).I also really love this zipper! If I was needing this for an infant that needed middle of the night diaper changes, then I would definitely prefer the Aden or Halo one since you can access baby's legs and diapers without unzipping the whole sack. But since I no longer need to change diapers mid-sleep, this zipper is actually way easier to use since you don't have to latch anything, simply pull the zipper up from the bottom to the top and you are done.Overall this is a great value and would even be my preference if the price of all three brands were the same.5Very niceI originally ordered these for my 8 month old daughter to sleep in during the summer but they are too thick. It s not a big deal though because I can use these in the fall and winter and they will still fit her because there is plenty of room to grow. They seem very nice and well-made.Update: started using these sleepsacks about a month ago. No issues. I like to put them on my 11 month old now that it s colder over her fleece pajamas (With a onesie underneath) so she has the feeling of a sleep sack without getting overheated. The zipper can be a little tricky and disconnect at the top but if you work with it a little bit it will stay in place. Still very happy with these sleep sacks And love the price. I will be purchasing more Hudson baby products4
