Does not look soft and plush directly from the packageJust received it four days ago so not sure how it'll hold up. However, I must say, that it does not look appealing straight out of the package. It does not look soft and plush like I expected. Maybe it will soften after the first wash. It does grip snugly around the toilet lid though.41st Review: Looks Better Online Than in Person. 2nd Review: Ugh!Felt I needed to revise my review. This rug is junk. It holds and shows dirt with a vengeance. After 2 washings, it is already unraveling badly and any bits of dirt (or grass or whatever) stays down in the matting and do not come out. Just don't buy it.The quality of this rug is average at best. It has a cheap thin nap and the inner square is barely visible. It's definitely worth what I paid for it as a used Prime item, which was about $15. I might even pay 20 bucks. No one should ever pay the full price of $46 though.1Not good qualityI bought this rug because it was reasonably priced and was the size I needed. Over the couple of months I've used the rug I can say it's not the best quality. As with all bathroom rugs it acts like Velcro with all hair and fuzz and dirt getting stuck to it; even after washing some of this is still stuck to the rug. The description says this is 16 X 14 (and I assumed they were measuring the top of the lid). This cover was too small to go on the lid. I struggled for 10 min. It was just not gonna fit! Sadly, I had to put in for a return.1Want durable? Look elsewhere....I purchased two small ones for placing in front of my shower. They initially looked good and appeared like they'd be durable but it turned out they aren't. A cotton shower mat is placed on this item therefore they're not stepped on at all. Today I washed and dried them per instructions with the exception of drying them on the delicate cycle. When I removed them from the dryer, they had several places around the edges and inside where the looped rug material fell apart. I had to trim them with scissors to make them presentable.If you want durable, look elsewhere.1Do not purchase these!!! When these rugs were1st taken out of the Box, they look very attractive. They were a little on the thin side but the Hi lo knap it made them acceptable. In use, underneath the not very thick blue nap, was the cotton-like fiber. After only using these for about for to 5 days, the white fiber from underneath started to show through the blue on the top. Over all these are very cheaply made and I would advise that no one purchase these. 1thin rugToilet contour rug: advertised thickness is 0.5 inch. Not even close to that. Rug is at most 0.25 inch thick. In other words, this rug is one-quarter inch thick, not half-inch thick. Plus the "spa" pattern shaved into the pile makes the rug even thinner in the pattern area.The contour cutout in the rug does not fit the curve shape of toilet. Cut out is more square like a box-shape cut.1Perfect size for half bathI needed a bath mat for the world smallest half bath.....I'm pretty sure the previous owners turned a closet into a half bath......anyways.....a traditional sized bath mat was too big and bulky and this worked perfectly with the redecorating of the ugly toilet closet that existed before.5Doesn't grip at all super short video of it compared to my inexpensive costco mat2
