    Be careful ordering used items!I would have loved it except I bought this as a used item, but it stated used/very good, and a picture, it looked fine, so I wasn t expecting a big part of it to be missing! The bottom bowl! So be careful about used items!1Looks great, doesn't function well.We bought this because it looked cooler spoon rest than the traditional style that everyone's mother and grandmother has. When it came in, I liked the fact that the bowl portion is removable so it is easier to clean. We then used it and had several issues.1 - The spoon rest will not accept short spoons (the fall due to the height of the support).2 - A lot of different utensils will not fit - a large spatula will at least balance on the aforementioned grandmothers spoon rest3 - Several different utensils tipped over when we used it.We stopped using this actually. Also this is unfortunately made in China.2Warning: design flaw Nice, solid, and heavy. But. When I was cooking, I hastily dropped a wooden spoon in. The spoon slid around the curve of the spoon rest, and toppled out into the gas flame. I quickly turned everything off, so no harm done. But I would recommend keeping this far from open flames, test it to see where a spoon will land if it is tossed in without thinking, and maybe don't get it if you are klutz like me. 2Metal up-right spoon rest is the answer.Nice metal up-right spoon rest for stove. Metal bowl won't melt , break or discolor with acid (tomato based) foods. It was wide enough for spatula and stainless steel spoon at same time. It might not hold grill utensils though. Keeps handles off stove surface and away from heat. Bowl contains the drips well. Would recommend!5Generally Works, Doesn't Fit All SpoonsAs a whole I really like this. Great look, holds spoons well and keeps them in a space efficient manner out of my way. A few of my utensils don't fit the best, mostly some larger spatulas, but for the most part it is exactly what I was looking for.4Not my best decision I purchased this to match the rubbed oil bronze features in my kitchen. But the utensils will stick out the sides since it is not completely enclosed. 4It's goodThis is a good sized utensil holder... holds a lot and I love the way it looks. My only complaint is the size of the gaps. The stems over almost everything slip through there pretty easily, which bothers me. I'm just careful how I put them in there.4Nice Piece Very nice. Looks good. A little bigger (wider) than expected, but that's fine. Well made. Nice color. Utensils placed inside do not fall nor leak outside of the tray. 5Better than expected!It s larger than I expected, but works perfectly for larger spoons or a ladle.5Sturdy, nice color and designFor $14.99, it is a bit pricey but given it's sturdiness, it is alright. Because it has many uncover opening, utensils with wooden handle dry fast; just you have to put them in more carefully so it wouldn't stay out.5pretty goodit's a nice space saver to have a vertical spoon rest. i like the fact that the little "dish" the utensils sit in is removable and very easy to clean as a result. my only suggestion to the manufacturer is if they made the lip on the dish a little higher it would be almost fool proof in terms of holding the spoon steadily in place.4Surprisingly elegant and functional piece for the price!A surprisingly elegant and functional piece for the price. Looks great in my kitchen and works as-advertised, no problems so far after a few months of daily use. Cleaning the tray is a breeze, it pops right out of the stand for easy cleaning. Its always a surprise when an affordable item ends up looking and functioning great, and at this price its a no brainer.5Nice Spoon rest I love this option for the spoon rest. It works with how our stove is set up. It's also super easy to clean. 4Not heavy enough I bought the other products in this collection such as napkin holder and utensil holder and they are fine. This thing, though, is too light - it slides on the counter too much when the family grabs paper towels. Our older one didn't look as nice but had a heavier, sturdier base. I'll put some no-slip plastic feet on the bottom to see if it helps... 2Great for when I cook I really like this, and it looks great on the island where I cook, holds all the utensils I need for cooking in the kitchen.... I may get another one for my grill outside 5Affordable, useful, easy to clean, good qualityVery sturdy! Light but not too light. Easy to clean and deep enough to hold various types of utensils/etc. there s hasn t been any issues with paint chipping etc when washing as well. Very affordable and although simple, stands out also!5Attractive Easy Keeper This is a handy, nice looking spoon rest for large kitchen tools such as wooden spoons and whisks. It is large enough to hold more than one. The cup removes for easy cleaning. It doesn't take a lot of room as do the horizontal spoon rests My only complaint is that it is a bit small for a tableware soup spoon which I'm in the habit of using....retraining in progress. You can't go wrong with this one. 4
