Cute and functional lampI love these lamps and so do my kids. The brightness is easily adjusted by holding the power button down. The stem serves as a flexible base that bends to various angles. The fact that it is powered by a usb cord and can be charged is my favorite feature because it continues to function in power outages. It s also a cute decorative addition to their rooms while providing a comforting light throughout the night. I ve very pleased with this product.5love this one for our daughter. This is the cutest little lamp. We got this for our 5 year old daughter who likes to wake early. She has an "ok to wake clock," and she knows at what point she can turn on her personal light and read to herself before her clock turns green to get out of bed. This is such an awesome and adorable light for her with lots of pros and one con.Pros:1) the flower stem is very flexible. I love that this allows my daughter to position her light to not bother anyone else. That is definitely a handy feature and one that we will demand in lights bought for other family members. Nothing is more annoying than someone flipping on a lamp in the early morning and having it disturb you. This definitely helps prevent that issue.2) this is a chargeable light. I love that she can take this in her bed and we don't have to try to keep a 7ft USB cord around only to have her complain that the light isn't working, etc. This is a really great design for children.3) ADORABLE! simply put it is so cute and happy.4) the little base has a sticky part (rubber, not like tape) that you can rest your book on, etc. This is really handy.5) this final one is a pro, but a con in how it works. We love that this light can be dimmed. The con to this is that you can't turn it on dim and make it brighter, but rather it goes on at the brightest setting and then you can dim the lamp. it isn't the end of the world, but it would be nice if it worked in reverse.All in all this is a great lamp! 4Small but nice kids lamp If you ask my 6 year old she'd give it 5 stars. It IS cute - and I like that it dims (you touch on/off but hold down to dim). I thought getting a USB chargeable lamp would be good so there would be no cord however I would actually prefer that I had a regular wall outlet cord. I also deducted a star because it is really small - you could only put a few pencils in the "cup holder pot" but overall it serves its purpose as a child's desk lamp. I just have to find an appropriate adapter as the instructions say to use the correct voltage to avoid problems with the charge or battery. I would recommend this lamp however keep in mind it needs an USB adapter to charge and it's not a big lamp, however it's cute for kids, easy to use, light is bright and also dim-able and the green "stem" (neck) bends nicely to adjust. 4Bright and Cheery! I don't think this lamp is just for kids! It brings a fun element to any room! You can store pencils in the pot. Also the flower stem is able to be bent where you need it to shine. My daughter and I use ours for nighttime reading. We put it on the bed between us. The lamp hardly weighs anything.The lamp charges like your phone does. I would say the light stays bright about a hour then starts to dim. This lamp would make a great gift for a college student. Puts off a very bluish light. We use it as a nightlight for a kid scared of the dark. Keeps the room pretty bright, but it fades quite a bit from maximum light to minimum. And the LED bulbs stay cool to the touch so we're not worried about leaving it on. Plus, it uses USB to charge and then you can unplug it and move it around and it will work for a few hours on battery power. And the bendable neck lets you put the light where you want it with ease. The only real issue is how short the cord is. Maybe 3' long. Fine if you are using it near a computer for your USB source, but we plug it into a power strip and it barely reaches the top of the bookshelf it's on. Still, you could get a cheap, longer cord if wanted; I just wish it came with one a little longer for more flexibility. 4Super cute lamp!My 6 year old's room is very pink and girly. I bought this lamp for her white desk. Keep in mind that you need a USB port to plug it into. I used the USB port/plug combo and an extension cord to keep it plugged in. What is really cool is that there are no difficult turn switches, only a digital on/off button that my little girl can easily utilize.5Clever and adorable!Truly delightful little lamp! The manual seems to be inaccurate when it states that the light will be red when charging and will go off when it's charged. I found that the red light blinks when it's charging, and then stays red when it's finished. And you may have to play with the power button until you get a feel for the best touch required in order to operate it. I find that a quick tap and release will turn it on and off. And a quick tap and hold will make it dim/brighter. And the suction cups will hold a phone, or a mirror for doing make-up, or just about anything else that has a smooth back to it. Biggest downfall for us is that it seems impossible to turn it on and off. Theres a power button design which is the intended spot to turn it on/off but this doesn't work. We have to push all over the lamp, shake the lamp or whatever magic we can think of to get it to turn on. It's almost like the power button under the decorative cover is mobile and it's a guessing game where it is. So although it's a cute lamp it just seems like it's going to break or not last as long as we had hoped. BummerThe seller did contact me following the review and offered replacement or a credit. BUT it is very difficult to adjust the brightness and turn it off. It's bright enough that she can see her homework and it can also be used as a light right before bed since there are different levels of brightness. The lamp is very cute, so cute and inexpensive that my mom asked me to order one for a relative. So I was really sad when the plug adapter "shifted/moved" and I could no longer charge the battery for the lamp (the red charging light would not go on and I switched cords and plugs to make sure that the cord wasn't defective). This happened about three months after we received the lamp; outside of the return window. The bottom of the lamp has no screws and I'm not sure how to open it, or I would try see if I could fix it. I emailed the company through Amazon, and after several days I didn't get a reply, but they had sent an email after I had received the shipment of the lamp asking how it was. I replied to that email and got a very quick reply, and after a few emails back and forth they had a replacement sent. I received the replacement lamp in the mail quickly and it works great. The first lamp you had to keep your finger on the "button" to adjust the brightness of the light and tap to turn off the light. The new lamp, you have to tap the "button" to adjust the light and it goes from bright to dimmer then to off. It was just a change that I noticed between the two lamps that takes getting used to.This time I'm not going to remove the (included) charging cord from the lamp because I don't want it to break again. Be very careful when plugging the cord in to the lamp so you don't shift the plug inside the lamp OR leave the cord plugged in to the lamp (I plug it in to the outlet as needed, when the light starts getting dimmer). Hope this saves someone from breaking their lamp. 5
