Solid, just wished it was metalThis is a solid shower head, with nice settings and great water pressure. It is made of thick plastic instead of metal but still seems very sturdy and durable. Love the three settings it has on it.Our old shower head even with the restrictor taken out had awful pressure and it was hard to get soap out of our hair (and I have a shaved head, should not be that hard) but this has been amazing. It feels great after a long workout or time out in the cold (live in the Chicago area). The price point cant be matched for a quality head.It looks great paired with our other shower hardware and would recommend it to anyone redoing their shower.4Great pressure and sturdy feel This shower head is great. I bought it because it was cheap and matched the towel rack I bought to accompany it. I wasn t expecting a lot, but it s actually better than the much more expensive Delta in my master bathroom. It looks nice and subtle, sprays well and has a satisfying click when changing the output type. I will eventually replace all of my shower heads with these when they die or need to be updated. 55 STAR QUALITY / Exceptional Value Very easy to install...no moving parts, ordered the brushed nickel metal, this is a premium product at a super reasonable price. The 3 speed head is easy to use .. . just push the knob to change the velocity. The high powered level is exceptional. This setting gives you legitimate massage pressure right down to your feet. This is my second order of this product, the first time [about 18 months ago] I stayed in a Hyatt Hotel and this was the shower head they used. I was so impressed , I ordered it immediately for myself. This time I ordered it for my son ...who just moved into a new apartment. He loves it !!!! 5Wonderful!I've had this for three months and love it. Our old shower head came included in our apartment and it had the worst pressure and also wouldn't get quite hot. I scoured Amazon's reviews looking for a good option and landed on this one. It was super easy to install; I unscrewed the old one and added this one. We noticed an instant difference- we had water pressure at last and hot water also!! It's the perfect amount of pressure without being too intense, especially for washing shampoo out of my hair. It also amped up our water heat, so I no longer am shivering at the end of a shower. Definitely recommend!5Deceptive Description/specsI read the descriptions and specs provided very carefully before buying. This product is described as being METAL under the "material" portion of the technical details. I can't say how much metal is inside the shower head, but whatever is on the exterior face and sides of the shower head is PLASTIC. Maybe there are internal pieces that are metal, but I have no way of knowing.One of the reasons I purchased this shower head was because I felt that metal would be more durable. The other reason was that I had previously found Kohler products (generally speaking) to be well made. This product is lightweight and feels like it is predominately plastic. I felt like I had been played.It works well enough for its intended purpose if you don't adjust the spray. I find that you must hold the shower head still when you rotate the lever to change spray patterns ...or the whole head spins without changing the spray. Not a problem for me at 6'1" tall with long arms, but clearly a problem for my wife at 4'11" with short arms. Maybe it could be an excuse for us to shower together. Unfortunately it is more likely a pain in the butt for my vertically challenged wife. She probably won't be changing spray patterns much, if at all unless she showers with a step ladder.3Great shower head, easy to useI honestly thought it was going to be dinky but suitable. It's actually really good. It's easy to switch between flow types and provides a really great stream. I previously had a Kohler that was the type with handle and hose. It was annoying to use but having a shower head that could be moved was needed for sporadic low mobility situations.As far as longevity, I don't see it lasting more than 3 years due to water quality.5Nice unit but hissyThe only comment is that is makes more noise than other heads I've. I did bath remodels for years and have used many types of heads including both budget and high end fixtures , this is well made and the three function lever works very well. It makes a hissing / whirring sound as the water mixes in the head and is sprayed out. picky comment but somebody may care.......4Kohler qualityAt this price point, it's a good value for a 3-function head. The metal is thinner and it doesn't give off a sturdy feel, but that's what you get for the $$. The box seems to imply a limited guarantee--Kohler has an excellent guarantee for their high end products, so I figured I'd take a chance on this one. BTW, jet streams on all shower heads will eventually fail if your water is on the "hard" side. Soaking in descaler will unclog and clean it (vinegar may have mixed results) without having to spend on a new one.4It s fine .. not the best, not the worstWorks fine. Pressure is decent. The 3 settings are easy to chance w the tab at the bottom (clicks between the 3 settings) ... I don t see much use in anything but the rain shower setting tho.. the middle setting is the worst of both worlds, and the power jet (just the center holes) is super narrow.That said it looks good, feels good changing the settings. One downside is it tends to drip for about 5-10 seconds after turning the water off.4Good design, lightweight plastic construction is slightly disappointing.This is a beautiful smaller shower head that looks great in my tiny shower. The selector for the modes changes over with a satisfying click between each one. It works well and the massage mode surprised me with the force of the stream. I needed a smaller shower head that wasn't spraying water everywhere and my old one was finally getting over run by hard water. This is smaller. The non-jet stream version of showering is not a very strong flow. I have thick hair and it didn't work great for washing my hair on that setting but it was fine to shower in. The jet stream setting is like super strong and I used that more for washing my hair and to relax in the shower. I don't know I'm not worried about it being a narrow stream or anything.It was simple to install. It didn't come with that plumbers tape so that was a little annoying. I was skeptical about if it would fit the pipe but it did. 4Great upgrade.Excellent alternative to trying to clean calcium deposits off of my last shower head. It turns out I have really hard water around here and not the greatest pressure, but this is shooting water all the way across the shower which works perfectly fine for me.5
