Nice shower head, but leakingThe feeling of standing under this thing is awesome. This shower head is perfect size. It is heavy though, if you are going to install it on an extender, be prepared to tighten it really-really tight, so it doesn't slip under the weight. Personally, I tried the extender first and then installed a new, longer shower arm to accommodate this head. The reason for the three stars is that it started leaking from the ball joint after only a few showers. So far the leakage is relatively minor, but it is still annoying to have it tilt and splash a bunch of water every couple of minutes.3This works pretty well, until it stoppedThis works pretty well, until it stopped. I guess for what it cost you can't expect super high quality, so we weren't surprised when it stopped working after 9 months. It was a bit weird the way it started developing leaks in the side seams that subtly shot out tiiiiiiny streams of water. They were nearly invisible to the naked eye as they were arcing nearly horizontally over our heads and the shower curtain. We would finish the shower and a random object in our bathroom would be wet, like the toilet. But everything around it would be bone dry. It was like a really petty poltergeist had visited and decided to pull pranks on us with a tiny bucket of water. Eventually we figured out the seams on the side of the shower head were pulling apart. It was hilarious and weird. Included pics and screenshot of order date, today is 6/11. Since you're reading this in the future what is the future like??! Is it filled with shower heads that spray horizontally? Is that how we shower now?2Worth it for those who enjoy their shower timeI chose this particular 12-inch head because I thought a square form factor would provide more coverage than a round one, and the longer silicon nipples would be easier to clean than shorter ones. I believe this has held true for the six months I've been using it. The price was right too, at under $35. The product itself didn't show signs of cost cutting. It is attractive, heavy, and entirely chrome-plated metal.At first this head felt different than a regular one, but not so much immediately better. Paired with an 18-inch arm, showering is like standing under your own personal little rain cloud. When going back to a regular shower though, it's obvious that this thing has spoiled me. I didn't realize that it used to take care and effort to get all the different parts of my body wet. I used to choose between rinsing my head, or chest, or either shoulder, one at a time. A 12" head makes all of them wet, all the time. It can be odd at first for those who don't want to get their hair wet every single day, but it is doable with a new set of body positions.An expensive upgrade all together, but amortized over every enjoyable shower for years, this is a decision I will continue to pat myself on the back for. It's the little things.5Tons of water! Looks/Feels great!Honestly - I was skeptical at this piece given the price of other much smaller rain showers at the big box stores. Well, two months later I AM IN LOVE. This piece is truly amazing for the price that I paid. I mean, it's enormous and it's like you own monsoon in the shower.A couple of things to note:-It's very shiny and shows fingerprints so you'll want to wipe down after installing.-I don't know why, but it creates A HUGE amount of steam and fills the shower which is nice, but if you're worried about excessive moisture be warned.-It puts out A LOT of water. A LOT, sometimes I have to step aside to take a breath. Nothing insane, but you just need to adjust to this much water coming down during a shower.-I live in a three story townhouse and I was concerned that I wouldn't have the pressure to power this item. Even on the third floor, during a high usage time, it works great. Very rarely have I ever noticed that it's just slightly less powerful than normal.All in all, looks great, feels great and easy on the checkbook. I received an email asking if I was satisfied and when I told them of the minor issue they sent me out a whole new shower head!! That is great customer service!!5No life guard on duty. Shower at own risk. Awesome shower head. Works great with our tankless water heater, but traditional water heaters may struggle to keep warm water flowing. This thing dumps water like crazy, has to be minimum of 9-12gal per minute. The one star deduction is for the fact that the head hold a crazy amount of water and ends up dripping into the next morning, even when tilted down to drain. 4Amazing!Love this shower head! It s ultra thin and easy to install. The pressure is nice but not overly powerful and will really depend upon the already existing water pressure. It s not going to increase it as it s built to be a rain shower experience. The only negativeIs that the head hold a lot of water once the water is shut off. You will want to tilt it up after completing your shower allowing all the water to drain out of the head otherwise it will drip all day long. Finally taking a shower is less uncomfortable ( I personally hate taking showers). You will probably need to buy an extender like I did, but that combined with this 12inch shower head was about the same price as the other brand 12inch shower head on its own. And this one is great. Pretty easy to install, just screw it on there, and there you go. Everyone in my house is super jealous and are demanding one for their birthday's now. 5
