Nice and durable.My 11 year old really likes it. She wanted a more grown up bedroom so this is what she picked and she loves it. This is the Blush color. It is absolutely gorgeous in my room. Although I already have red and brown sheer up in my bedroom, I would have loved to have a pattern like the comforter in a curtain and a matching rug. Every time i adjust the blanket I hear the stitching rip.. the cheap material is so disappointing. Material isn't as I thought it'd be either. It's rough. I also tried canceling my order the same day I ordered it and they refused to cancel saying it was already being shipped... it was SATURDAY.1Sheer elegance.This is a beautiful elegant comforter set. The only thing I worry about is that when I tug it when tucking it around the bed I can sometimes hear a slight tearing sound. I believe that it might be the little squares that make up the design of this comforter. I have to be mindful of this at all times.4Beautiful! I love this set. One of the other posters noted that the swirls could come undone if youy pulled on it too hard and I agree. I was a little scared it was not going to actually look purple but it matches the other items in my room perfectly. The package came within the given time frame. I ordered a King and the bed skirt is a little to big but I just put the side with the extra material on the side of the bed that is along the wall. I also order matching curtains and this transformed my room without having to paint! The comforter itself is thick and soft on the side facing down to your bed. The top side has a shiny gloss that is not to bold but just enough to add class. You do not need a blanket under the comforter as this comforter most definitely keeps you warm throughout the night. I couple of nights I have had to kick off the comforter and turn on my ceiling fan. That's saying A LOT since I am normally cold all of the time. My only warning is to be careful when making your bed...do not pull the comforter as this pops the stitching. I have to carefully slide the comforter to not pop stitching. Otherwise, pillows and shams were fine. It s a bit pinker in person, but otherwise true to the photos. The comforter top and pillow tops are incredibly scratchy. The underside of the pillows and comforter are a bit more soft. The whole bedding is 100% polyester, so it can make you sweaty and itchy fairly quickly. I m not sure on longevity as I haven t washed it. It looks like it ll hold up to a few washes, but I imagine the pintuck sewn parts will unravel at some point. If you are looking for something pretty and don t care much for function, this will work. Also great of you can catch it on sale. If you are looking for something comfortable, I would look for something with a cotton mix.3Very poorly made!!!Pretty disappointed with this comforter. It was reasonably priced, looked nice enough, and had decent reviews. As far as reviews go, I read the lowest ratings posted... but took them with a grain of salt as I tend to do. I figure there are usually some "bad eggs" purchased every once in a while, but these items are typically not a good representation of the product. I really, really wish I would have taken the one star ratings to heart. The material didn't feel the greatest when I opened the package (cheap, dare I say?)... however, I still gave it the benefit of the doubt since it looked pretty enough. Its downfall, though, came when I washed it. As soon as I started to take it out of the washer I saw cotton fluff all over the place, with large tears along the edges! I instantly remembered a few reviews where they had mentioned this. So it's obviously not a "bad egg" scenario. Please be aware- the comforter will most likely shred after the first wash!!! The rest of the items faired ok after being cleaned... but to be honest, I purchased the set mostly for the comforter which ended up looking terrible. If I could return it after being washed, I would. For now I have to deal with my awful choice of deciding to purchase this set :(.1Elegant, soft, warm comforter for a great price!Beautiful, elegant comforter and pillows - the color is even richer in person. The comforter actually fits my king bed perfectly--I have returned many others that barely drape over the side of the bed. The underside is a soft microsued which is very warm and comforting. I do wish the blanket was a bit more plush like it appears in the picture, but overall very nice quality. I also don't like how wrinkled the material is, it makes the bed appear sloppy. I understand this happens with shipping, but nothing seems to remove the wrinkles. The color is pretty but monotonous, so I added some additional pillows to bring in more ivory and some chocolate brown. This comforter is offered through many different retailers (up to 2x the price) but Amazon had the best price.4
