    Really like how the pictures look in the frames and great ...After purchasing a while back for my wife's birthday in September, I finally got around to picking a few pictures and starting the framing process. Really like how the pictures look in the frames and great quality for the price. However, I just noticed that one frame is missing the glass completely. I know we did not break the glass because we would have had to clean it. Well I know it has been a while since we purchased these but who knew that 1 out of the 4 8x10 would not have the glass at all. Hopefully Malden will send me a replacement. Real bummer. We bought the 4 pack 2 16x20 and a couple of others. All others had the glass so my guess is it was a fluke and we missed it when originally unpacking. Must had just looked at the first and then set them aside.2Decent for the priceIn general for the price these are nice enough frames. However, sometimes packaging is not that great. Even with good wrapping, there can be nicks or wear, especially the corners, so check them very well. Also- I had to learn the hard way, that an 11x14 frame- is only the MATTED part of the frame- inside, where the picture shows through. Not the measurement of the actual frame part- which is what I thought in the beginning. I have learned since to be very careful3For the Price.... meh.Front looks nice. Sides and back are meh. There's a crack in the back of the wood frame. The sides and back of the frames are still dingy brown color. I guess painting the sides to match the front wasn't worth it to them.... It's a thin frame, but sides are still about 2/3" thick and isn't painted, so you have the rustic grey + dingy brown look. Picture included.3Nice Frame I purchased this as a replacement for a similar frame that fell and broke. I was unsure what it would be like or the quality. I was pleasantly surprised. The frame is very nice and durable. I also like that it is very easy to open the frame. Some frames have the little metal pieces that you have to pry up to place or remove photos in the frame. This one has the rotating kind that is much easier to work with. I would buy this again! 4Avoid these disappointing poor quality frames... Not worth it...I ordered a few of these frames for our nursery, we ordered some super cute illustrations we needed frames for. When the frames arrived I was VERY disappointed by how poor quality these Malden frames were. First of all, the frames are not real wood, but instead are a cheap composite wood material. Think compressed sawdust. Second, the frames are very flimsy and the corners were not tightly fastened together, leaving a small gap between the molding. I immediately requested a refund from Amazon and sent these frames back. For the cost I would have expected much, much better quality. Unfortunately Malden DID NOT provide that.1Elegant and beautifulI purchased four of this and two of 8x10-inch frames. They were all good quality and delivered quickly. I used them to decorate our walls.The back side of the wooden frame is not straight flat, but angled. That makes this frame more elegant (and expensive) look if you stand the frame on a desk. However, if you hang it on the wall, it tricks your eyes and makes you wonder whether the frame is wobbled or not. Also, you can see the stand from side. So if you are hanging it on the wall where you can see it from side (like a hallway), it may not the best choice. However, it is still a good choice if you use it on the desk/table or on the wall where you only see the picture/painting from the front.4It's cheap. And it's cheap.Arrived with a small piece of wood broken off on the backside, in 2 areas where the back brackets secure the picture in. Box looked completely undamaged. The wood is quite light seems like particle board. Too much hassle to return it, just glued them back on.It is light, so it's easy to hang and is pretty flat against the wall compared to many frames.The gray color wipes partially off - scrub it with a dry paper towel before putting it up and it actually looks better.It's cheap for a glass front frame, but also I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for a picture frame.You get what you pay for. However if it didn't match a frame we already have, I would instead go to the store and get something I can put my hands on instead for a few more bucks.2Badly Damaged FrameI had purchased this frame before and was happy with it. I ordered another one for a Mother's Day gift and it just arrived today. Unfortunately this frame is badly damaged despite the outer box being in good condition. The back of the frame is cracked in all 4 places where the tabs / fasteners hold the picture backing to the frame (see photos). I am deeply disappointed in this product as it is not useable in it's delivered condition.1They look nice if you can get one that's not damaged.I ordered six Malden Manhattan style frames (5x7, 8x10, 11x14) and many of them arrived damaged. The frames themselves are attractive, simple, and well constructed. My plan for these frames was to arrange a wall gallery so I ordered multiple frames at different sizes which arrived in several shipping cartons from Amazon. The packing materials were more than sufficient to protect the frames, and none of the boxes were damaged. Many of the frames however were either scratched or completely crushed. One fell apart as I removed it from the packaging. Of the six I ordered, three went back, and two of the replacements were equally damaged, so they were returned for replacement. I was finally able to receive six undamaged frames after considerable shipping hassle.This experience, though unusual for me, reflects poorly on Amazon's shipping QC. The damaged frames were clearly packed in a state of already being damaged.3Very impressed with the qualityFor being what I consider a cheap, low quality frame, I was very much impressed with the looks of this frame for the price. The weathered finish allows it to be slightly imperfect and still look great on the wall. The white mat had a ribbed texture that added a beauty beyond basic, plain white matting. It does not come with framing wire so I would suggest purchasing some if you would like to hang this on a wall. It also included real glass. I would purchase this frame again.5Frame at high risk of breaking during shippingThe frame is pretty fragile. It looks good, and if you are lucky enough to get one unmarred by shipping, then the photos are a pretty good guide to what you are getting. But my first frame arrived broken with major pieces splintering even with the shipping box and bubble wrap. The second replacement frame wasn't splintered on the front but was breaking apart in the back. So, although your mileage may vary, there is a real risk you'll be going back and forth on returns.2
