Generously sized and very well made, they're flexible but not floppy. I bought three of these silicone muffin pans to bake and serve individual breakfast meals of hashbrown potatoes, bacon, cheese, scrambled eggs with a single baked egg on top. Now that's a recipe guaranteed to stick--but not in these pans! In a trial run before the big event I discovered that my time saving recipe took impossibly long to remove from a conventional non-stick muffin pan and many came away in pieces. I was about to give up on the idea when I saw these silicone pans. I assembled and pre-baked everything except the final egg-on-top the night before, then popped three pans into the oven 30 minutes ahead of time to reheat and bake the egg-on-top. For convenience I put them all together on an over-sized cooking sheet but they can be moved without major support as long as the filling isn't liquidy. Even so, they don't collapse but just bend a bit. Within five minutes of taking the three pans out of the oven, I had 18 beautiful breakfast muffins on a serving platter ready to go. None of the gooey ingredients stuck and the individual casseroles looked great too! Note that I did use a light spray of olive oil in each one before assembling the ingredients. The size is generous enough that the quantity in a single main course serving satisfies all but the biggest appetites. 5There's no way that this is a jumbo muffin pan ... There's no way that this is a jumbo muffin pan. It's just little bit bigger than the regular size muffin pan I have and is no where close in size to the jumbo muffin pan I just threw out to replace with this one. I wished I had bought something else. For the price I paid I thought it would be what I wanted. 1Perfect for cloud bread! I'm so pleased! I follow a low carb keto plan of eating, which includes cloud (oopsie) bread. This pan is perfect for that. initially, I would simply plop the batter on a cookie sheet and let them run into whatever shape they would. In an attempt to control the shape, I would use a Texas muffin tin, and simply fill it only about a half an inch deep. This works well, and made perfect liverwurst sandwich size 2 inch diameter slices of cloud bread. When looking for a larger pan to make larger diameter slices of bread, I came across this silicon pan, and I decided to give it a try. I used my usual recipe, (I'll include it below) and the recipe worked up perfectly. The bread removed from the pan just fine, and barely any cleanup was needed. Instructions State this is dishwasher safe but I simply hand wash it, easy.The diameter of the finished bread is about 4 in, perfect size for a typical hamburger.***Cloud bread recipe***3 egg whites and a quarter teaspoon of salt, beat to stiff peaks, set aside.3 egg yolks.100g of cottage cheese, cream cheese, OR yogurt.Half tablespoon of psyllium husk powderHalf teaspoon of baking sodaBeat together, then fold in egg whites completely.Slightly oil pan, fill each well with the batter.Season tops if desired.Bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or to desired brown-ness.I removed mine from the baking sheet immediately using spatula, to avoid any sticking but at this point I don't know if there would be any. They probably would have just popped right out when cooled.Edited to say: I'm still loving this hand. Last time I made my bread, I did not bother spraying it firsts and it made no difference with sticking (meaning that the bread does not stick when spraying it or not spraying it) so I'm not going to bother to do it again It's best to let them cool several minutes after baking and then just pop them out.Clean up this easy, it just rinses clean. It's also dishwasher safe. I've used it several times and it still looks perfect.The only thing I could wish for, is a pan that made twice as many at half the diameter. That would be an awesome addition to my low carb pan cooking collection. 5I found this very easy to use I found this very easy to use. Removing the cakes was very easy too. Definitely use a spray before putting in your batter. 5This is not worth the money. This is not nonstick. My eggs stuck in the muffin cups, even with nonstick spray being used as well. If is also very difficult to clean, as the food did not want to come off. I would recommend saving your money and buying another brand. My Aldi's silicone pans were way cheaper and much higher quality. I had to give a star rating, or else I would have left it blank. 1Thrilled with this product!!! I Thrilled with this. I got nervous reading some reviews about taste. Not true. I washed it before use. I gave it the recommended treatment. I've used it several times now for baking what I call egg-bombs. I cannot say how great and easy it was to clean! As a first time user of this type of cooking ware, I forgot to place a solid pan under it as I loaded it up with my recipe... learning curve. It is flexible and needs to be on some sort of flat sheet when cooking. It did not affect the cooking time at all. I am very pleased with this product and even more thrilled to not have to ruin another regular tin trying to clean baked eggs out of it. A GREAT product. 5Couldn't be better! I read all the mixed (good and bad) reviews about this before buying it. Basically I wanted muffin pan to make muffins such that I did not have to use muffin cups. With the metal/teflon typical muffin pans I felt that I would have to use muffin cups. When I first got this product my main concern was that it would not be as non-stick as it claimed. I followed the instructions that came with it regarding prepping the pan for use. You wash it with mild soap and water, let it dry, then condition it with oil for a few hours before use. I was so impressed. As previously stated by other reviewers, it is flexible so you cannot pick it up and carry it (even with both hands) without any support below (when cups are filled with batter). So I put it on a flat metal/aluminum baking sheet. It's really no big deal. It is so awesome. I am able to so easily pop my muffins out without any damage to them. They retain their shape COMPLETELY and are beautiful. Subsequently, since using it, I have done what other reviewers said they did successfully, which is to just spray it with non-stick spray right before use. This has worked fine. I am thinking that the reviewers who say their muffins still stick may just be spraying inside the cups. I spray the ENTIRE pan (including the area between cups) with non-stick spray. Some reviewers have complained the pan is difficult to clean. Completely untrue if you are spraying them with non-stick spray prior to baking. However, I have (like with any other pan) soaked it in water for a few hours before attempting to wash it. It is super easy to wash. I would recommend it to anyone who likes making cupcakes or muffins. 5Great for toaster rounds! This was perfect for my recreation of toaster cornbread rounds! The only draw back was some slight sticking. I am experimenting with different oils to see if it resolves. Would buy again! Tip: place on a cookie sheet to take to oven to slide it in/out. 5Excellent muffin-top pan I've had this pan for a few months and have made muffin tops every two weeks. I use a light coat of shortening on the tray to assure easy removal of the cooked muffin tops (as recommended in the literature that came with the pan) and it works wonderfully. The pan is super easy to clean and easy to store. It's necessary to have a cookie sheet underneath the pan to move it about and put it into and take it out of the oven as the pan is thoroughly flexible and will not stay flat unless supported from below.If you like muffin tops, this is a great pan to use. 5Great muffin pan - I use it regularly. I make a ton of muffins for my toddler, and this pan has been great. Just rest it on a baking sheet to go in the oven, so it has more stability. I throw it in the dishwasher.Update after using for over a month: I bought a second silicon mini-muffin pan that was a different brand. Comparing the two, this one is more sturdy and thicker *but* muffins stick to this pan where the exact same batter doesn't stick to the other pan! Not sure if performance will fade over time but this one, at the moment, is less desirable to use as there's more cleanup.I also notice the silicone pans can be thrown in the dishwasher but they always seem to come out very filmy with a white coating on them. Sometimes I just handwash to avoid that, again- not as convenient but maybe that's just how silicone is?? Not sure 3
