    Great for a little girlThese are so cute. I bought two for two of my little girls' night stands. The shades were a little crooked and I had to shim the screw / cap with a little big of paper. 5Exactly What I was looking for!I bought two of these for my night stands I love them gives a touch of glam without looking over the top. Came well packaged wasn't bent or damaged in any way. I also put a standard light bulb in it and it gives off a fair amount of light. 5Pretty & Glitzy!Very pretty, glitzy light. It doesn't have a shade per se; just a ring of dangling crystals that make a pretty pattern on walls and table when lit. It takes a regular bulb base, but I used a chandelier bulb so it was prettier than a white lamp bulb (see photo of bulb I use). Another thing I like is that it has a pull cord to turn it on; this way you don't have to disturb the crystals so they don't shake. 5... when I ordered mine but they turned out a great buy. I LOVE it!! 5Cute, Classy, and CompactI do love this lamp- it adds a nice little bit of retro glamour to the room. I have gotten many compliments on it. My favorite part- the pull switch. So many lamps like this have the switch on the cord that I find mildly irritating. I was thrilled to find a lamp in this style that had a pull switch. I would note that I didn't end up using it for its original purpose (night stand lamp) because of the harshness of the light, no matter what wattage bulb I used. It cast a weird shadow in the room when it was the only light on. But this is simply an inevitable effect of any lamp that doesn't have a real shade around it to soften the light and honestly something I should have thought about before purchasing it. I ended up putting it in another room where it was not the only light source and it works beautifully. 5Satisfied; as picturedThese came packaged well and they were super easy to put together! I thought I had to put each strand on the lamp, but it came in just 2 or 3 pieces, the base, the rod and the top if I remember correctly. I bought 2 and they both look exactly like the images. Nothing was scratched, but 1 of the top portions is a bit bent/crooked and while there should be 7 crystals on each strand, 1 of the strands was missing a crystal. No biggie, I turned it to face the wall (I'm sure the wall won't mind). The light is single setting on/off and the chord is more than long enough to reach my outlet from the nightstand (I'm not home, but I'd say around 6'). These match beautifully with our chandelier and emit a nice healthy glow without being too harsh on the eyes. The crystals bend the direct light so that the walls look all twinkly. We bought the typical light bulbs and they fit just fine. There was a piece of cardboard around the part where you screw the bulb in, but I think it's designed that way and I don't notice it when you're using the lamp.All in all, happy with my purchase. 4Five Stars 5
