Nice silicone spatula/spoonI bought one of these & then ordered another. The color is a good orange (better than the photo). It is shaped as a shallow spoon but the tip is flexible so I use it as a spatula. I'm migrating from wooden spoons & spatulas to colorful silicone alternatives, and this fit the bill.4It should be called a slingshot as much as the head gives.I dont even want to really call this a spoon unless I say "Play" spoon. I think of a spoon and I think SOLID. Well this one is missing a solid inner core in the majority of the head, so it gives almost completely. So if you want to use it to scoop a baking bowl clean of batter its good.....but you dont buy a spoon for that! If you wanted to buy it for cooking I would not though. You cant use it to break apart ground beef if you use it while cooking or to do anything with pressure really. And I cant really call it a spatula because I could not use this as a spatula because its too flimsy. And because it is so thin and has no core it will give into wear a lot faster than a thicker based spoonula. I compared the RSVP (in Blue) to another spoonula I have (in Grey). I showed how much both heads give if you use a little pressure. And in the pictures I had to apply very little pressure to bend almost all of the RSVP spoonula, but I had to apply lot more force just to make the other spoonula give a little.2Needed a second oneI've had this for several years. It gets a lot of use and still looks new. Since it is frequently in the dishwasher I decided to get another one so there's always one ready to use. The handle is sturdy and easy to grip. The spoon tip and sides are flexible. It's great for mac-n-cheese, spaghetti sauce, and other saucy dishes because the flexible edges easily wipe the bottom and sides, and it is enough of a spoon shape for stirring and dishing.5best cooking spoonsfeel a bit silly reviewing a spoon, but these really are great. i have had two of what must be the same kind for almost 10 years and they are only now starting to get a bit ragged (they may have gone thru the dishwasher next to the grater) so i came here to find a replacement and as far as i can tell, these are the same spoons. i use these for almost every type of cooking; they won't melt if you forget them on the side of a hot pan, they are thin at the edge so they get into corners well, sort of half spoon and half spatula, and they are super easy to clean. they are fairly flat so they don't hold a lot of liquid, but if you want to spoon large amts of liquid you would probably be using a ladle not a stirring spoon anyway.5Perfect spoon for all your everyday kitchen needs! Won t melt , easy to clean!Perfect for all your everyday kitchen needs! Perfect for stirring pots on the stove , you don t have to worry about it melting. Super easy to clean , super durable , and just overall a great spoon! Highly recommended!5My favorite kitchen utensil by farI bought one at a specialty kitchen store a few years ago and it's been my go-to for everything. It's a sturdy spoon that doesn't scratch your nonstick pans, and it's just the right size and shape to get things out of jars, bowls, pans, ANYTHING. I bought some for my entire family this Christmas. My only complaint is it doesn't come in more colors.5neither a spatula nor a spoon, it's an anti-spoonula!This might be useful for various things in the kitchen, so it's not worth returning. But it really isn't a spoon, there's so little bowl to it that I can't even use it as a tasting spoon for a soup or stew in a pot. And it's too spoon-shaped in outline to be used as a spatula. So it's kind of an anti-spoonula, which makes it pretty limited in my kitchen. My spoonulas (from Starpack here on Amazon) are much more versatile.Otherwise, it seems well made, and is comfortable to hold and use while (for example) stirring something in a pot. But just be aware what it can and can't be used for.3Love it!It is perfect for making scrambled eggs in a non-stick pan that you don't want to scratch. It's not a spoon that holds anything, but it's great for mixing and stirring. Super easy to clean.5Good value for Moneyi bought it in june 2015. now planning to but again since its easy to clean. no chemical smell. After 3 1/2 years of regular use only the frying pan and milk pot has scratches that too only because others who cook using this forget to use silicon spoons. If you are careful not to use wooden ladle and white cleaning use soft scrubber its a durable product. Frying pan screw has now become loose after 3 1/2 years.. so far i has no complains. everything cooks evening and quickly. I have never used it for boiling water but for boiling milk it took lot of time.4A Perfect Flexible Silicone Spoon-like Utensil. This has become my go-to cooking utensil for my busy kitchen. The silicone has not split, degraded or discolored after a month of pretty heavy use. I really like how the end of the "spoon" is very flexible. It's actually perfect. Thank you!One note, If you are looking for something to spoon liquid this will not work for you. Its actually mostly flat with a slight scooping indentation. Im guessing they use the word spoon because we don't yet have an english word for this item. A scoop spatula maybe? Thats sounds less catchy but more correct.5
