    As others have commented there are some Major flaws with ... As others have commented there are some Major flaws with this brand of towel. One of the two towels had a defective end stitch with "long" bare hanging thread and some "missed" machine finish. The amount of lint that is collected in dryer seems excessive. Only reason I didn't return for refund is that the towel is soft, heavy and absorbent. Just need some quality controls put in place at the factory. 2Thickest towels ever! WOW! These are the thickest towels I've ever encountered and I've been in some very nice (Waldorf level) hotels. Almost too thick! I love them. My only complaint is that I wish they were a couple inches longer and wider. I washed them in with vinegar the first time and they did shed quite a bit of lint, but they are luxurious! they did take a while to dry. Very absorbent. I also got the face and hand towels in both brown and sage green. 5Plush sounded great, but in this case The towels are just TOO thick! They are heavy. They don't really dry you,.. I tried washing them with vinegar; with soda. I never, ever used fabric softener in the dryer. I thought maybe there was some type of barrier on the cotton to keep from drying... but nothing worked. Plush sounded great, but in this case, it was a waste. I'm sorry to post a negative review. 2Very thick, absorbent, but NOT soft, lots of lint after multiple washings, and strings/flaws immediately starting I'm going to compare these towels to the top 3 kinds of towels I have experience. 1) Simply Vera Vera Wang Signature Bath Towel, 2) Premier Ultra Plush towels from walmart.com (not available in stores), and 3)the generic cheap towels my parents had growing up. Firstly, the Vera Wang towels are the ultimate- incredibly soft, well made, thick, ultra-absorbent, high quality, and long durability. I've had mine for over 5 years with no fade, pilling, or strings. They are beautiful. Unfortunately, they don't come in black or even a dark charcoal anymore. There was some initial lint for the first 1-2 washings but nothing much thereafter. For the Premier walmart.com black towels, they were indeed soft, not as thick or well made as the Veras, made low amount of constant lint, and after 5 years they are faded but more importantly misshaped and ruched/permanently crimped/narrowed at the decorative strip. They also shrink noticeably. So they have to go. My parents towels were small, rough, absorbent, and not thick.These are very thick, nice and absorbent, but not soft. Kind of a harsh feel even after 3 washings and fabric softener. Lint was excessive even after 3 washings. Its showing less in the dryer but I still can't use them to dry my face or I get tiny strings stuck in my eyes and coating my skin. The color is OK but after the first wash before use there were major strings/failure points.Time will tell if they hold up but each was leads to more (over a foot long) strings to cut so I doubt it. My biggest peeve is how not soft they are.9/2018: after have these for many months now I am not using them anymore. After many many washes the lint is still out of control to the point where I cannot dry my face with them I get lint painfully stuck in my eyes and contacts if I do. Color has faded noticeably despite gentle cycle and using Woolite Dark. Very disappointed. 4So far so Great! (15 month update) Ordered a bunch of towels to replace my old ones and finally get rid of the old mismatched towels while the wife was away visiting family (she would never let me throw towels away). I ordered 4 packs of these bath towels (8 total), and 3 packs of the matching face towels (18 total). It took three loads to wash them all, and of course there was a lot of dryer lint initially (there always is) -- I emptied the lint tray every 15 minutes, and by the time all 26 towels were dry I almost had enough to stuff a throw pillow! I washed them in hot water with liquid Tide, and then a second time with just a 1/2 cup of vinegar. They came out beautifully and we are very happy. Note that one of the 18 face towels had a defect.... the seam came loose on a 1.5" section of the towel. I submitted a request to return one pack of face towels for free exchange, and the next day Amazon sent me a follow-up email saying I don't need to return the first pack. I'm extremely pleased so far, and will update once they've been washed several more times. FWIW, I travel frequently and stay in nice hotels. I'm a bit of a towel snob... my frequent hotel chain has a note in my profile to provide me with extra towels. It is rare that I see towels on this level, even at 5 star hotels. The bulk of my towel collection that I'm now throwing away is the Hotel Collection from Macy's. I loved and swear by the Hotel Collection towels for years, but it's time for something different because the price was cost prohibitive and Macy's website is to problematic.//Update after about 15 months// We continue to love these towels. They have obviously lost some of the bulk, but they are still thicker than towels at the Intercontinental hotel. The bath towels have held up without any issues, but now about 5 out of 18 washcloths have torn along the woven decorative strip section. Washcloths take a lot more abuse than the bath towels, so it's to be expected. Luckily, we have the extra six-pack that Amazon sent for spares. 5take good care of your fabrics I got a pack of 2 discounted as a returned item. I could see someone had washed/dried one of them, and it was frayed along one edge - very minor, I snipped it off and it is fine. But, it was at least 2 inches smaller than the other unwashed towel. If you wash in too hot or even too warm water or over-dry or use too hot dryer they will shrink and perhaps fade. These are high quality fabrics, not from dollar store and must be treated with respect. I have 28 face cloths and 16 hand towels, from Superior and of the same 900 GSM. I wash in cold water with Tide/Downy and dry on low for 40 minutes. They did not shrink noticeably or fade at all and are all still in brilliant condition after many times laundering as I described. 4Threads sticking to Face Not Recomended at all, we need to shell out lot of money and end up with Threads on face after wiping with these towels. I would like to check if they accept retuens. 15 Stars! I found it real difficult to purchase towels online by reading other people's reviews so I will try to be as helpful as possible. These bath towels are really good. They are normal sized bath towels and will fit around the average adult. They are soft and fluffy. They are not the "most" absorbent towel's ive had but they are DEFINITELY absorbent enough to dry you off with total ease. They came in a pack of two. They smell real good right out of the package. They wash normally and have a normal amount of lint for a bath towel. To me its worth 5 stars. 5They fall apart after 6 washes , do not buy. At first they seemed great, very soft and absorbent, but now three weeks later they are falling apart. After about 6 washes you would take them out of the dryer and large amounts of threads started coming off of the sides of the about 1/2 of the towels I bought. I had towels fromPottery Barn that I paid about X2 more on and they did not start to fall apart till after 3 years. Very Poor quality product and I would not buy them again. 1Simply fantastic towels I rarely do product reviews however, I feel compelled to do so because of the great quality of these towels. I can say without a doubt these are the best bath towels I ever owned. They must be seen to appreciate the richness, thickness and, quality they present. They are just simply elegant towels. 5
