    Good for the priceThese markers work great. The magnet feels a little weak, but it stays up on the fridge. The eraser caps are really handy. The only real con is that the color variety is only so-so. I'm writing on clear glass though, not a white board, so that may be my issue. The red and orange look very similar, and the blues look similar. The yellow is illegible, but then, it's yellow, so you get what you get. Overall, good purchase. Just got them, so don't know how long they'll last but if it's unsatisfactory, I will update the review. 4Best Dry Erase Markers out thereThese are great but I prefer the pack of 10 that are not magnetic and have only one tip on them. The reason for that is that these say medium but are a thicker tip so not easy to write neatly with them. Also I find that if I store them tip down they last longer and don't dry out ~ you can't do that with these. The color is great and the magnet is convenient so I use them for my kids to draw with on the white board in the barn when I am working and they are GREAT for that!!Board Dudes are the BEST dry erase markers out there!! They really last ~ I had a set last better than a year in the barn stored tip down {I write everything the animals are to eat so I use them often} without drying out or losing color. They were vibrant until the day they dried up. 4The very very best I ever boughtI have wasted so much money trying to find the perfect dry erase that had a magnetic on it that wasn't fine point that came and Brilliant deep rich colors not bright highlighter colors this is the first time I didn't have to give away or throw away any colors that came in the peck each color is deep dark and Rich when I say dark I mean it's not all bright like a highlighter. I love the black the blue the purple especially the purple it's more like a deep dark violet it's beautiful is actually the same color as my nails LOL and the fact that it's thick it's heavy in the hand so it's writer friendly meaning that you know you don't have this tiny little dry erase pen in your hand it's a good fit in the head it feels good in the hand and it's quality to me and you get two colors in one two erasers in one so I'm going to order another pack 5Great pen, horrific magnet. It will not stick to anything.I really like these as a writing instrument, but the biggest issue here is the magnets. They are soooo small and they are inserted so far into the pen that they aren't strong enough to hold onto a magnetized board. I spent too much time and frustration having to hot-glue bigger stronger magnets onto these so they would attach to my fridge. If you don't need the magnet par, get them - they're great, but don't expect them to stick to anything! 3DissappointingIn October 2009 I purchased two set of magnetic dry erase markers, a chisel tip set by T l and this bullet tip set by Board Dudes. I actually preferred the chisel tips which, unfortunately lasted only a couple years before all but one color dried out. In sharp contrast, the Board Dudes set kept going strong until August 2016 when I noticed the red has finally begun to dry up. All other colors are still strong and vibrant. I will definitely get a replacement set and consider other Board Dudes accessories.Update: the new markers are not the same as the original Board Dudes SRX. The colors are not as strong and as others have noted, the magnets are not strong enough to hold the markers to the board. 3RecommendedI've been using these on this Quartet melamine whiteboard: Quartet Standard Dry-Erase Board, Melamine, 36 x 24, White, Aluminum FramePros:- Bright, opaque colors that show up very well, even the aqua & pink- Eraser-tipped caps are handy- Pretty colors!- Erase completely even after a few weeksCons:- Eraser-tipped caps means that you can't just put the cap on the end of the marker when you're using it - not a big deal, but I'm forgetful enough that I could easily lose track of it.- Caps require more force than I expected to put on tightly. A plus is that it's easy to tell when the cap isn't on all the way - the cap color is extended on to the marker itself, so you'll see white if the cap isn't on.Notes:- Tips are a little thicker than a fine-point Sharpie and deliver a line that's more than sufficient to read from a few feet away, or in a medium-sized conference room, but may be too thin to read in a classroom environment. Certainly too thin to read in a lecture hall.- For those whose monitors are not doing a great job with the picture, the colors offered are: blue/black, pink/purple, red/orange, aqua/green.- Check your board to confirm that it's magnetic - I assumed, and was disappointed. I had to play with them on my friend's whiteboard instead. The magnets on these markers seem to be weak, but they're more than strong enough to keep them from sliding around on a vertical surface.Recommended. I'll buy these again. 5I love how you get two colors in oneI love how you get two colors in one, this has saved me a lot of space. All of the colors were vibrant and easy to read. I would have liked it better if these were fine tip, they are medium. I use them to write my menu for the week and grocery list- they work well enough and are easy to read since I'm writing a lot in a small space (however some words I do have to write over again if the letters mash together since it's not fine tip). The magnets could be stronger, but they haven't fallen off my fridge yet. Eraser works well. 4Love these!These markers are GREAT! I have a large household (7 kids). We use a whiteboard for daily chores. With these markers I am able to buy one set and have a different color for each child plus another color for overall household messages. I love that these do both fine line and bold, I love the colors. They are bright and eye catching and easily distinguishable (which, if you know anything about kids, is important.) I love the fact that I can hold all 4 markers in one hand while I am writing out the board after the kids leave for school... and I don't have to search for a particular color. I love the magnets. It keeps them all close at hand, and I can hide the markers (from the 5 and 8 year olds) on the back of the refrigerator if I need to. (Might sound strange, but they are a little overly rambunctious and like to draw on anything and everything). I also love that they have the erasers on them. We always lose ours and end up using rags.The price for these was great, too! In he town I live in, you can get 4 single markers for not much less than the price of these. The larger sets at larger retailers ate nearly twice as much and no as good quality. If you had more colors.... I would definitely buy them. 5Good markers and cool designGood markers and cool design, except the magnets are not strong enough to hold them to the board. We stack them on the border of the whiteboard so they don't fall off. I love the concept of two colors on each marker, the only thing I realized besides the magnet issue is that you have no way to put the cap on the other end while you're writing, which is kind of annoying. Not sure how they could design it given the need for the erasers on the cap-ends, which I do like, but I'm sure there's something they could come up with. Anyway, these were a really good price for technically 8 colors so I don't regret getting them. Just not perfect- need stronger magnets and way to hook the cap end on while you're writing. 4Not All Colors Are Opaque When Writing With ThemI was excited to get these as I love the many colors and magnet feature. I have them attached to my metal filing cabinet next to my desk. The reason I am only giving them 3 stars is because many of the colors are not very opaque on the white board. Quite disappointing actually. The black and blue seem to do best whereas the other brighter colors look a bit washed out/don't write well. I don't think I'd buy them again just for that reason which is too bad as I really like the functionality of the magnets. Oh well. They'll do for now. And the price was reasonable. 3
