    Basically Tall Regular Garbage BagsI d rate these bags a 2.5 strictly due to low cost to value on the amount you get but I would not buy them again for contractor type debris. They are thin and break easily. They are also skinny with a smaller opening but taller than pretty much any other bags. As others mentioned they come folded up in a cardboard box but when buying inexpensive bags that s not something i would complain about.Overall, if you are using these bags for debris that could possibly puncture it (wood, cardboard etc.) or for outdoor garbage bins (bags aren t wide enough) I d look elsewhere. 2NOT for cleaning out your parent's home!These are definitely not 'tough'. I bought these to clean out my parents home. Most of what went in were old clothes and the odd knick knack or computer cable. It was amazing what punctured these bags. They claim they are "puncture resistant" and "can can cope with anything from nails to jagged glass or splintered framing". If there was a rounded plastic hanger just putting pressure from the inside, it would puncture it. Want to put a couple books at the bottom of the bag under some clothes? Nope. Even tying them up was a trick as the tie flaps were very short.I would put these at the same quality of a grocery store brand trash can bag. There is no way I would ever line a 55 gallon drum with them as they say can be done. If you are thinking these are contractor grade bags do not purchase them. I gave them two versus one star simply because they did hold some things and the move is finished so I'm feeling charitable. I would have been better off with lawn/leaf grade bags then these. 2Was dissapointed and not what I expected ..Bags arrived folded and layered. They not in a roll as I m used to. There is no way to neatly store these bags as they didn t come in a proper container. I guess if you are buying them for a large project and plan to use them all right away they are fine but for my purposes, it s just a huge mess that s hard to store. I never imagined in a million years that I would say I was dissapointed with a purchase of trash bags but I am dissapointed. I also have no idea if I received the full order as the is no official label and I wasn t going to count them all . 3Good and BadThe Bad; Super thin and weak bagsThe Good; these bags will likely break down in the landfill quickly (watch they will add that as a "sales point")Also Good; the bags come off the roll easy as they are not connected to each other, just layered on a roll.That's helpful when you pull 3 -4 bags to use at a time (which you will as single bags rip open with any kind of weight in the bag) 2not super strong but perfect for my need of removing a ...These bags are adequate and a decent value, not super strong but perfect for my need of removing a lot of fiberglass insulation. I see a lot of complaints that the bags are poorly packaged and not easy to remove. Really? Is it so bad? Looks to me they are stacked by hand then folded to put in box. They did not spend $400,000 on the equipment to roll the bags, so they are cheaper. I d rather take the savings personally. Plus I got 52 bags, win win. 4Not Tough by any meansThese are NOT tough, heavy duty, use for construction bags. They are very thin and tear easily. Closes comparison is Hefty Leaf bags. I have double and triple bagged stuff and it still tears. It's good to put two or more of your kitchen trash bags in to set out for the trash collection but that's it. I tried to use for clothes donation but it pulls then tears if its a heavy bag. It's a lot of bags for this price. It will take a year or more to go through on the limited use. 1Paper thin and see through;! Wrong size and wrong thickness! Not as described!!These paper thin and see through bags arrived in an 8.5" x 11" mailing envelope from China over 2 weeks after the order date. They are nothing like they were described! They are super thin and comparable to something you would buy at Dollar Tree. Instead of arriving in a box as pictured, they all easily fit in a small mailing envelope, and the envelope was not even full! They are definitely not sturdy and would not hold anything other than maybe a few pieces of paper without ripping. Returning immediately and wanted other buyers to know about our experience. Cannot believe what we received vs. what was advertised online.Update to Review: Out of curiosity, we took one bag out and looked at it more thoroughly. It appears to fit a small office under desk-sized trashcan. Not sure why we were sent the wrong item and hope to hear from the seller soon. 1StrongThese bags are strong and fit well in our large trash can. I took off 2 stars for the packaging though... they arrived in a plain brown box (no name or manufacturer labeling) and when we opened it the bags were just folded into one big stack inside the box. There is no way to tell if we actually received 50 bags unless we count them one by one (which would be a royal pain and not worth the time it would take). More importantly, it's difficult to remove only 1 bag at a time due to the way they were folded and put in the box. If that's not a big deal to you then I would say go ahead and buy them because they are good quality for the price you pay. 3Note the width stated in the description! No tie tabs.Don t expect a nice graphic covered box like you would buy at your local store. These come in a plain cardboard box and are packaged in a funky way that it s difficult to just pull one at a time out. I don t have a problem with that. I just picked them all up and dropped them in the bottom of the trash can. That's where I store them. I just put one bag on the can and when it's full there are more bags right there waiting and ready to be put into service.I do have a little trouble putting them in my 50 gallon trash can. I have to stretch the bag around the rim and if I m not careful the bag will easily tear. My fault for not noticing that in the description it says that they are only 35 inches wide. I didn t pay attention to that. I just looked for 55 gallon , found what looked like a good deal and added it to my cart. Other 55 gallon bags have a wider width making them easier to fit your large wide mouthed trash can. So, they re not the toughest bag out there, but they re not the thinnest either. Anyone who tells you they are tough is lying to you. Anyone who tells you they are thin and useless is lying to you. I ve purchased more expensive tougher 55 gallon bags with similar issues, considering the price and quantity you get here, I m very satisfied with my purchase.There is no plastic string through the top edge to pull closed and there are no premade tabs to grab, pull together and tie. The top of the bag is a straight edge. Since they are slightly too small for my can I just go around the top edge pulling and stretching it very lightly. Then it fits fine. Because the bag is longer than normal, when I pull a full bag out of the can there is plenty of bag on top for me to tie it closed even without the tabs found on other bags.I actually use these in a large 50 gallon trashcan in the house. Yes, we generate that much garbage. If I use a normal trashcan I would be taking the trash out every day. I'm too lazy to do that. I've only had a couple of these split on me when taking them out of the trashcan, but that was due to a big piece of cardboard or a stick poking into the side of the bag. I have yet to have one leak fermented juice all over the floor when taking it out of the can which was a problem I repeatedly had with a well known 'tougher' brand.Yeah, the size of these is a little strange. They're not the toughest, but their not the weakest either. They're trash bags. They hold trash and will quickly end up in the dump. If someone wants to spend more money on trash bags just to through them away every week that's their prerogative. I'll stick with these. 4Wrong size for my 55 gallon trash canNothing actually wrong with the bag other than it doesn't fit my 55 gallon trash can - SIGH. Going to use it for other purposes. SO if you actually need this size bag - 5 stars. Its tough and durable - not one has torn and they are easy to tie up using the top 6 inches.Same company actually makes a 65-gallon bag that DOES fit (exactly) my 55 gallon trash can - go figure. Now that bag gets 5 stars because I actually do "Love It". 3
