Attractive caddy works, but with many caveats. Pros: This is attractive with a brushed nickel-like finish. It is very light owing to it's aluminum content. It has suction cups to help mount it against the wall which work well and are definitely needed. It has great hooks for hanging two washcloths. Like that there are two basket-shelves.Cons: Bends very easily with almost no pressure, but does not want to lie flush against the wall.The suction cups they provide are a must, otherwise the caddy will swing to one side or the other quite easily depending on the weight distribution of your personal products.The tines are spaced too far apart so that the bottles always tipping to and fro, so one has to work at keeping bottles upright and balanced over the tines.There is not enough clearing space between the lower shelf and the soap holder, so it is a knuckle-bumping process to get the soap bar in and out. The top basket should have been located lower so that tall bottles of shampoo don't bypass the hook for hanging. We have a dedicated hook mounted on a wall, so this isn't a big issue for us, but if you truly plan to hang it on the shower head then you may have to place bottles on either side and would loose the middle space of the top basket.One last thing: The sections configured for hanging razors is pointless because if you use the lower one, it obstructs soap access, and if you use the higher one, it obstructs lower basket-shelf access. That last point is not a big deal: we just found another spot to use for hanging the razors. 4Does Not Lie Flush. Loop Won't Bend. Struts Snapped Off. Dead 10" After Opening! do not buy this if you have a typical shower head on a curved pipe that bends over you. the aluminum is too hard at the top loop and will not bend backwards at all, even the slightest, therefore you cannot get the loop to sit over the shower pipe just before it makes its curve to aim down. that's where these racks hang. if you can't bend it, you can't have it lie flush against the up-pipe and shower curtain. typical metal racks can be bent, so the loop tilts backwards. this brittle aluminum snapped the uprights when trying to bend the loop. gone, not 10" after package opened. $40+ bucks down the drain. idiotic design. would love to get my money back, but not likely. 1Don't buy unless you want to put all of your products into different bottles that will actually fit the shelf spacing. I wish this thing was better designed. I bought this because it was one of the only options that was all aluminum. The material and finish were both very good. The problem is the spacing of the shelves is such that you can not really fit any bottles on the lower of the two shelves. Also, everything on the top shelf is really high up. A better design would be wider and better spacing of the shelves. Don't buy unless you want to put all of your products into different bottles that will actually fit the shelf spacing. 1Rust free and perfect organization for my shower It seems that buying a shower caddy these days is always a gamble. So many of them rust almost immediately after you get them. Even the very expensive "rust free" ones often don't hold up for long. Beyond the rust issue, many have weird configurations that don't hold tall shower items, are missing hooks, or have nowhere to keep a razor. But this shower caddy has none of those issues and is pretty much PERFECT. I've been using it for over 4 months at this point, and I haven't seen a single speck of rust. The two razor holders are well placed so I don't accidentally knock them off when I'm reaching for my shampoo. The hooks on the bottom are a good size so that I can easily put a poof or a washcloth on them. The height of the shelves work well for all my full size hair and body products. I can't speak to using enormous, bulk sized products in this caddy, but I have yet to find a caddy that would hold something like that. The only small negative worth mentioning is the smell of this caddy. The metallic aluminum smell that it gives off at first is pretty off-putting, but it does fade quickly. Certainly nothing severe enough to take away a star. I'm so pleased with this caddy that I'm planning to buy another for our second bathroom. I anticipate being able to use this for years and years. Worth every penny! 5Poor workmanship I was so excited to finally find a shower caddy with adjustable shelves - they could be moved up and down and side to side - but less than a few months later, the soft plastic piece under the hook that keeps it from sliding off the shower head fell off, and now it slips down constantly. 1Very disappointed with this product Very disappointed with this product. I was excited to find something that will not rust - it is made of aluminum and it's very lightweight, which is the best feature of this caddy. However, like many others said, because of the lightweight material, it bends easily. The caddy does not fit onto our shower as it constantly slides off, and the suction cups do nothing to hold it in place. Although it is lightweight, it is also rather thick and that's another reason why it doesn't fit snug against the wall. The shelves are completely useless, as the top one is covered by our shower head, and the middle one is too short for most shampoo or shower gel bottles. With just a few tweaks, this could be a great shower caddy but, as it is, it does not work for our shower at all.Furthermore, I bought this product from Amplified E-store. Although this product was shipped to me quite quickly, I am most definitely appalled with their return policies. Not only do they request you to pay for the return shipping, you also get charged 35% restocking fee if the product is in perfect shape - which makes the return process almost as expensive as buying the product itself.I've never had any problems with returning items that were bought directly through Amazon or other sellers, as I was always refunded the full amount and the return process was super easy. If you want to buy from Amplified E-store, be sure you're buying something you won't need to return - otherwise, you have completely wasted your money and time dealing with their customer service. 2Just OK I should have read all the reviews before buying this. After having this a week I ve noticed 5 flaws, that others complained about.First the positive things:Yes it was easy to installYes it fits goodYes it has room to hold most of my stuffThe cons:1)The suction cups. The slot where the bar attaches slides out. So the suction cup is useless. I may have to glue it so it does not come off the bar.2) The tines are spaced too far apart, soap Falls through the tines. Plan on using a soap dish. Also other small objects fall through, like razors.3) The razor holder slot is useless if you have a handheld shower. The hose knocks it off.4) I don t know why but the smell of this thing is gross when it gets wet,it has a nasty sewer smell that is definitely coming from the unit. I hope it s only because it s new and goes away. If not going in the trash.5) The price. For what this costs you would expect a better unit.If you read the negative reviews, you will see the same problems that I m having. 2Interesting Design for Handheld Shower I spotted this while looking for the more familiar shower-mounting shower caddies. Since I had just installed a Delta handheld shower head it seemed appropriate.This caddy is all aluminum (as far as I can tell) and is fairly lightweight. I did not install the suction cups, but rather used only the loop that fits over the shower arm. It's plenty strong, but if the weight is unbalanced in the baskets, the whole caddy swings to one side as you would expect. My recommendation would be to use the suction cups.it took me a moment to figure out how the top attachment mechanism worked. it involves loosening a small screw and swinging out a hinged arm to allow the hanging loop to be fitted over the shower arm. Once I figured this out it was fairly straightforward. The hanging loop has a resilient plastic sleeve to help stabilize it, but as noted above, it's not enough to keep the caddy from tilting if there is uneven weight. The tilt is not a huge issue in any case.Overall we're pretty happy with this unit. 5NEVER RUSTS 100%. GREAT QUALITY UPDATE Bought one from bed bath and beyond before and the quality is great. As other reviews mentioned it s not so great for huge shampoo containers but I m a guy and I could care less about that stuff. As long as it holds it well and of course NEVER EVER RUSTS. This was an EXCELLENT investment in my opinion.UPDATE: Mine is starting to fall apart the bottom lower level that holds the soap is detaching havent had this more than a month and its already breaking . sad . the one from bed bath and beyond my parents have has lasted them longer . I would purchase there . I will attach a pic of the breaking part . Other reviewers are right the shampoo not being able to stand up is also annoying . 1It looks nice, it's not terribly functional though I really thought I wanted an aluminum caddy to replace my old one because I was replacing it because it was rusting apart. It seems though that the material is somewhat limiting in design of aluminum caddies as this and all other's I've seen since suffer from the same functionality limitations. They don't have enough places to put things, like the handy loops for razors on my old one, or the bend shaped hole in the top shelves so you can turn bottle over, won't find that on an aluminum. Also they all have the bars too far spaced apart, too far in the bottom to keep even a brand new bar of soap from falling out and nothing at all in the front to keep it from falling out after i put a soap holder in the middle shelf to keep it from falling through the bottom.Lastly something that appears to be just a design choice on this caddy that I disagree with which is that the top shelf is too high. There is still not enough space between the top and middle shelf for tall things, and everything in the top shelf including the shelf itself is interfering with the shower wand and hose.Overall we are just able to put less in this caddy than we did our old one that was smaller. 3
